Hampton Inn by Hilton Sudbury

Stayed here multiple times - definitely the best in the area. The staff is incredible and always remember my children, especially Pat who goes above and beyond to make our stays special year after year. Highly recommend.

Well people had there kids running up and down the hallways loudly

We count on Hampton inns as our go to and have always had great experiences. Unfortunately that was not the case this time. This hotel needs updating, on the surface it looks good however the mattress was so terrible that both my wife and I woke up in pain. Also there was a hockey team or tournament there the night we were there which didn’t help as kids were running up and down the halls uncontrollably l, I had to eventually to and talk to them, not sure where the parents were. Due this team in there was a party the night before which didn’t not get cleaned up after and for breakfast the area was still very dirty. Finally the air conditioner was so noisy that we could hardly sleep. Sorry to leave such a negative review for what is usually a solid chain but I would avoid this location unless there are some investments to upgrade.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, very clean and quiet. We had a nice stay with two small children. Couldn't fit a cot in the double queen room due to fire hazard (wish this was indicated before hand). Hair dryer provided wasn't working but everything else was great. Good time in the pool after a long drive! Breakfast had a wide selection and a nice seating area.

My only complaint is breakfast being over at 9am Monday to Friday. We picked this hotel because breakfast was included and that would make things easier on us as we have young children. We are on vacation and getting the kids up and ready early enough to not miss breakfast made for a stressful morning. Breakfast should be served until 10 or 11am to accommodate all travellers.

It was a nice quiet night with my kids for a girls night in the city. They loved the pool, not cold and nice and clean. It was quiet in the evening. The room was clean and bathroom amenties were a nice extra. We enjoued the hot breakfast which had a lot of favourable items for anyone who is picky or may have diet restrictions. Some options were hard booled eggs, cheese omelete, hasbrown, cereal and oatmeal woth toppings waffle station. It was a little crowded for fonding seats but as people cleared out the staff were on top of keeping tables cleaned.

I have stayed here twice with my family and really like the hotel. What I did not like when I checked in was when the manager at the front desk heard a child cry and without hesitation or regard for the fact that she is in front of customers says, "freaking toddlers" and shakes her head and walks away. Not a good look for someone who works in hospitality. People have children, children cry sometimes, be decent and if you can't stand the sound of a child crying for 10 seconds then maybe you shouldn't be a manager in a hotel. Other than that, the breakfast is good, the pool is nice and the room was clean.

Not only were the front desk staff beyond friendly as well as accommodating the cleaning staff were as well ! The entire stay at the Hampton was a 10/10 for my family and I :)

I found it rather expensive. There were lots of hockey teams in the hotel and I know they did not pay near as much as I did. A little hard to accept given that the place was full of youngsters.

Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and staff is great. The hallway was loud because there was a hockey team staying at the hotel so kids were running down the halls and making noise. Not the hotel’s fault.
