Comfort Inn & Suites

Had kids running in hallway and knocking and slamming doors late evening around 10:30pm. Will ask for quieter area next time. And no did not call front desk. I don’t like to complain. Lol

Well I was told at the front desk upon checkin that the breakfast was open till 10:00 I came down and my wife and kids were coming down in a few minutes. When I got to the breakfast area they had already cleaned everything up. I asked the lady why is there nothing here and she replied breakfast is over. I said it is not 10:00 yet and she was unsure what to say so she went to the front desk and came back and said during the week we close breakfast at 9:30 I looked at my phone and I told her it was 9:12 she said I am sorry I only do what I am told. I then had to take my family out to get a bite to eat and that was $ 50.00 that I never should have had to spend and they ( staff) did not care one bit.

The staff were rude and nosy, they called the police for a customer saying she felt sick, resulting in all kinds of issues for a young family. Shame on you!

Amazing short stay at the hotel with my family. Everything was good.

So Great Hotel. Almost 5 Stars. We went for a long weekend with my family. The location is great, safe, and convenient. The room was clean, and a good space. The breakfast was so abundant, very good, high quality of products. The staff always made me feel so safe and comfortable and provided so good information. I didn't give the 5 stars because the cleaning service wasn't available daily. I really would stay again

This Comfort Inn is a two level property that I would say is fair to call a motel/Inn. It has several places nearby to grab a bite - Wendy's, Mucho Burito, etc. Walmart and Cineplex nearby. 10 minutes to Blue Mountain village. Pros: -location (see above notes) -good breakfast. Plentiful, hot, and staff work hard re-filling everything. Fresh waffles, baked goods, sausages, eggs, potatoes. Plenty of good coffee and fresh juice. -extremely friendly and helpful staff Cons: -very outdated, odd smell to hallways -no pool, as advertised -I found a bunch of ants in our first room, feasting on food crumbs. The amazing ladies at the front desk moved us immediately to a new room. However, the next room was only a slight improvement (i did a good look around for bugs, obviously). I found in our second room: dried chunks of fruit between the bed and nightstand, peanut butter cup wrapper, juice box straw wrappers everywhere, fake fingernail, barbie doll shoe, chips, etc and just generally really un-vacuumed floor. Although i only saw a couple silverfish bugs initially, the next day our bathroom had two ants. Overall, I would not stay here again. The friendly staff and good, free breakfast just dont make up for the lack of cleanliness at this Inn. Note: Expedia advertises this motel as having a pool, which they DO NOT. Huge disappointment to my kids.

Really good value for money. Walked to a wonderful restaurant, Minh's on Balsam St. Great free breakfast in the morning. There were noisy kids and adults in the hallway--when speaking to the kids didn't work, called the front desk (via cell--in room phone we just got a busy signal) and someone was sent up right away. Definitely would stay again.

Clean and quiet place. Good for the family. Friendly staff.

When I checked in and went to the room they assigned me, there was already a family in it! We were both shocked. No hot water for the whole stay (Friday to Sunday). Broken ice maker and the hot water problem suggests the hotel is in poor repair. Worn and dated furniture in common areas. At least it was clean.

My family and I were visiting Blue Mountain and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Very pleasant experience. This is a small hotel with only two floors but it was quiet. Koodos to the "quiet" policy in the hallways at all times and after 11pm in room. This made for a very good experience. The breakfast was good as well, nothing special, but typical for a breakfast included deal. Not disappointed. We booked a room with two queen beds and a sofa bed. We asked for an extra comforter because you could feel the springs in the sofa bed that made for an uncomfortable sleep. We were given an extra comforter, no questions asked and my son had a peaceful rest throughout the stay. I would definitely stay here again.
