Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CLARINGTON - BOWMANVILLE, an IHG Hotel

I wish I got her name, the girl at the front Desk, dark long hair, bright blue eyes and has a fractured left arm - she was AMAZING. So sweet, helpful and accommodating. There was a team of kids for a tournament staying same time as us and she made sure they were on a different floor so my toddler wouldn’t be disturbed. We arrived earlier than expected into town and she helped us get a room and check in earlier and was so great even at check out. We stay in a hotel at minimum once a month for the last few years and it was so nice to have someone who was just so genuine and helpful and didn’t hate their job! Wish she could be at every hotel we stay at as she definitely made the trip that much more worth it. I hope the hotel recognizes her and her worth to the company. Without great staff you’re nothing.

The staff were friendly. My grandchildren loved it. Cookies at the front desk, very good breakfast with lots of variety, and they enjoyed the pool and the gym. Very good value for the price.

Great for the night with kids

Stayed overnight for a wedding. The rooms were massive and we were able to get ready and enjoy the rooms with all of our family. Comfortable beds and clean room. Breakfast was great also. If we are ever back in the area we will rebook this hotel.

A good place for family to stay when visiting the area. The pool is great for kids.

We were there for a family reunion ..at a Darlington park and only slept at the hotel.. There was we were told a lacrosse tournament in the area and a lot of the players and there parents were staying in the hotel. We came back to the hotel around 11 pm and there were a few groups of parents outside on the property socializing and continued to socialize to at least 2 am.. there was no consideration of turning down the music or keeping quiet in the halls. Noise complaints were made by us and an few others in our family also staying at the hotel. Although i know this is not the responsibility of the hotel staff to police them complaints should have been address and followed up that they should stop noise at a reasonable time 11pm for the consideration of others staying at the hotel. We were on the 4th floor and could here their music playing until 2am.. Elaine Oakes

Comfortable and quiet, clean enough, but very old. Good choices for breakfast. The toilets might be ideal for young children, but much too low for older people.

Comfortable beds, nice pool for the kids and hot tub for the adults, nice buffet breakfast

Stayed with my family. Liked everything. Good place to stay. Easy check-in and check-out. Kids liked the pool.

Friendly staff, comfy bed. Bathroom was a little outdated, the drain didn’t shut so was hard to bath the kids.
