Old Orchard Inn & Spa

We stayed in one of the cabins which was a perfect fit for our family, and it was less expensive.

I stayed in one of the family cabins not the main building. The only issue we had was a lack of outlets.

My friend and i brought our 1 year olds for a little getaway. The cabin was a greay fit for us; it was easy to access, green space across the driveway, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The restaurant was a bit of a let down. It was slow, the server wasnt very engaging and tge meals were brought out after those who came in after us had received their meals. We ended up asking for boxes to take the food because it was over 35mins (for breakfast) and the kids were getting restless. The pool was nice, but the floor really needed a good scrub as there were various parts with greenish black scum. The grounds keeper, and receptionist were lovely as were most of the workers we encountered on our stay. I would stay there again.

We always wanted to stay there but it is typically out of our price range. It was a last minute trip to help with an family estate sale 20 minutes down the road and there was nothing else available so we thought let’s do it! When we checked in, the desk clerk was very somber and un-welcoming. if my 8 year old son wasn’t present, I would have asked him to get a new job if he didn’t like this one. When we got to our room, the keys did not work. The clerk reprogrammed them and we were able to enter. The room was clean but quite outdated and bathroom very small. The drive up parking was very convenient, I would likely choose this option every time! The pool was a big hit for my wife and son, especially after a 6 hour drive. The restaurant staff were incredible and our son really liked one of them :) All in all it was an ok experience, but I don’t know if we would pay that much to be back there.

Checking in the staff were NOT friendly at all, I felt like we were inconveniencing them. The room was comfortable but very noisy due to children running around the halls and stairwells.

We paid the full rate, but the pool was closed. The hot tub was closed. The sun deck was closed. And our tv didn’t work well. There was no notification beforehand. I booked this place specifically because of the pool and hot tub. The kids were not happy, which means the parents were not happy, either. Some notice, a discount, maybe even an apology might have been nice.

The hotel is in need of upgrades. The room was spacious but carpet was old and furniture was as well. The pool needs to be updated as as it looks dirty. We are a family of 4 with a baby and they put us in the middle of a group who was there to party. The quiet hour starts at 10 or 11 but they kept going until 3am in the room beside us. So not an enjoyable stay at all.

Was located close to family, rooms were super comfy. Beds were fantastic. T.V. was excellent.

Room requested was not offered. We inquired about breakfast, but couldn't get a menu. We were told to order online, despite not having a computer to do so. No menu was available for viewing, which is unacceptable. The dining room was open for evening dinner, but we were served reluctantly. The food was nonetheless good. There was no place to gather with other family members, outside of our rooms.
