Quality Inn Halifax Airport

The staff were so lovely! I was traveling solo with two young children. The staff were so hopeful with me getting my luggage around the hotel and had a freezer on hand for me to put my seafood in overnight. I would stay here again just because the staff were so wonderful.

The dust build up on the top of the doorknob/key slot thing was thick with dust and God knows what else. Took my kids to the pool. There is a sign that says, "I the case of an emergency, lift receiver tk connect with the front desk." this sign was hung above an empty phone jack. The whole place is filthy and poorly maintained. Seems like they don't have cleaning staff.

Great place to stay would recommend to family and friends.

The rooms are old, bathrooms extremely small even for a child. Sink outside the bathroom so had to wash hands in tub. Old tub/shower. The bed was comfortable

Room was small but adequate. Excellent proximity to the airport. Indoor pool was nice for the kids. Breakfast service doesn't start til 6am, so not available for earlier flights. They do have a coffee machine in the main lobby and vending machines. The staff was SUPER friendly. Didn't get much sleep as people checking in with kids didn't think it was important to keep them quiet in the hallway or room at 1am. Then at 4am guests across the hall had dogs who barked incessantly in the hallway and outside. I know this isn't the hotel's fault, but it made for a challenging night before an early flight.

Restaurant & Front Lobby are all that looks decent. If all of Halifax, Darmouth & Bedford weren’t sold out for the week I would have been out of there in a heart beat!! Stayed in the back of the hotel.. I’m pretty sure people live there and are doing “illegal” activity. Random people showing up to the building to see certain individuals that sit in cars all day/ night. Garbage all over the place. ( broken scooters and kids toys!) Most of the doors don’t work for some reason. Stair case smelt like stale beer, mold everywhere. - my room definitely didn’t look like the pictures. When asked if I could move said hotel was sold out. Chipped paint everywhere ( even some doors) Basic cable. Advertises hot tub - doesn’t have one. Ice machine broken next to our room, had to go all the way downstairs and than some to find one. Housekeeping slips notes under your door saying they are short staffed to clean or room, if you need things go to front desk ( every 3 days). I’m happy my son wasn’t with us, instead was with his team in darmouth at a clean hotel! I can’t judge them based on the storm that happened - but the basement flooded ( laundry room ( where linens are washed ), pool area and both salons( reception areas)

Stayed here before heading to the airport the next morning. Place was clean, comfortable, pool was huge and deep, kiddo and hubby enjoyed that. Breakfast was delicious the next AM. Enjoyable stay

Property is very dated, with worn out carpets, worn and dated bathroom fixtures that did not appear clean, but were actually just worn and slightly damaged. The room heater made the worst noises possible. It made 3 distinct and annoying sounds; a rumbling sound like a car motor slightly revved up, a wind sound like an industrial fan on high, and a random but constant loud clicking like a metal kids toy from the 50's. I didn't sleep much!!! Breakfast was disappointing. I tried the coffee but threw it out....terrible. The front desk staff were great at both check-in and check-out, as was the shuttle driver.

Good service, reception very friendly and helpful. Up graded our room which was very appreciated. Breakfast ok. Very noisy, was woken at 1.20pm by lots of noise in the corridor, not the hotels fault just idiots (letting their kids shout and run up and down.
