The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, convienently located with good ammenities. The staff is what made it a one of a kind experience. The staff during our stay were friendly, couteous and went above their duties in terms of making my family feel welcomed during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Lovely reception area, bar and restaurant. The room seemed like it had been renovated a while ago, not too bad but not overly nice, two double beds were very much on the small side as was the bathroom. Soundproofing isn't good - 1st night lot's of screaming kids next to us (we have no problem with kids, just the sound attenuation). The most frustrating part of the stay was housekeeping. We had extra towels as there was 4 of us, but they took them and left only 2... they didn't replenish the coffees and we kept on having to call down to ask for more. A bit frustrating to be honest, nothing major though. On a positive, good food and drinks, very friendly service. It also has a fantastic location, a short walk to the waterfront.

Great location! Lobby & Lounge are Nice , Room was small ( 2 ) Double beds, so a bit cramped for a family of 4 Great kiddo park across the street Grocery store 2 minutes away Liquor store in the same mall ;)

We stayed at the Westin at the end of our NS road trip having stayed in the Marriott at the other end of the Waterfront at the beginning of our trip. The Westin is a lovely hotel. The staff were super helpful. Everyone in hotels these days seems young and new which can be a good and a bad thing. There is a Canadian Superstore and pharmacy just beside the hotel which is handy. Access to the waterfront was excellent. Our breakfast in the restaurant was very average. The waiter was sweet but the food wasn't that great. The Marriotts restaurant was much better and was much more busier too so maybe everyone knew that the food wasn't the best. My kids loved the swimming pool and fitness room.
