Crowne Plaza Moncton-Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Went to share a romantic night with girlfriend away from kids and was woken up multiple times from kids running in halls,kids yelling in halls at 4 am,staff was amazing and are willing to give refund but have to talk to Expedia

The hotel parking was full - even though we paid for it. Then we had to walk around hotel as it is under construction. Picked a hotel with pool/hot tub so we could swim. It was full of kids. Kids running halls all hours. Staff said to let them know if we hear it but no one wants to get up and call staff at every thirty min. We told the people running halls etc we were trying to sleep. It did not cease. Expedia / hotel had double dipped on my pre- authorization payment so my credit card didn’t work at the mall. The breakfast we went to one morning, the second morning we didn’t as we wanted to try something else and the hotel tried to charge us extra - said we had more people eating breakfast from our room but it was only two of us on trip!! Overall just bad. Would not go back and I’m an IHG rewards member.

Arrived at the hotel at 5:20 to be told that our room was still not ready. Person at the front desk was pleasant but was told it would be another 30 or so minutes which did not work as we had to get changed so we could go to a 6 o'clock reservation. Got in the room to find the sheets had holes in them and stray hairs on them. Bathroom door was a nightmare. It would not close without a firm and aggressive push and then opening required a mighty heave that would wake the floor. My daughter was not able to open and close it as it would get THAT stuck. Left the hotel but came back to find zero parking available that we had already paid for. Went to front desk to ask what is up and they told me that people from the hockey game next door come and use their parking lot. Security was not stopping people from coming in and when asked what to do, not a lot of answers. Hopeful to have a hottub as that was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel however when we got to the pool it was overrun with teenagers who were throwing balls without regard for anyone else in the pool and were crazy loud. Oh and the best part, the hottub was not working. Not hot. At all. Back to the room where all night we had kids running up and down the halls and congrating to yell and holler. My wife did go out at point to ask them to please quiet down but with 5 minutes they were right back to it. No one at check out asked how our stay was. Will not be back.

I wish it had menus for the different restaurants and take out food places to go or order from. It would of been nice to have better choices for snacks for kids. I would of like to have a menu in my room for what time breakfast started and end and what i could ordered.

The toddler play room near the guest laundry set this hotel apart from others for us. They played while I read the morning paper and did my laundry.

This is the first time my family travel to NB. It took me at least 35 minutes to check in in a line of 5 people and had to contact the front desk to get out of the parking every time I had to because the ticket issue. The front dest wasn't friendly and helpful at all when I ask to add a rolling bed for a kid. We were signed the room right across from the elevator and had to suffer till 1:30 am because there were always people standing there and talking. This is the third I had to stay in a room across the elevator when I booked my hotel via Expedia and that make me felt upset.

Really enjoyed our stay! Loved the pool and the room ! Would hope that the kids play room would have items in it the next time we stay! Over all, great experience
