Horrible experience. Terrible service. We payed for a view. We got the room 106. It had a strong smell, like pee and/or mold. We returned to talk to the lady, but she ignored eye contact and left. We then returned to our room totaly ignored. We return back later to ask for a recommandation, for a family restaurant that could deliver, but oh boy was it hard. Then we talked about our room and said she couldn't help us since the hotel seems to be completely booked. We had to go to the bord walk to see the view we payed for. In the middle of the night we ear a knocking at the window. A homeless guy was asking for money by taping on our window. We have kids in the room. When we checked out, we told them about our experience and the young lady didn't say anything at all and continued our check out like we said nothing at all. We explained simply and calmly the situation, she told us that we could have had an upgrade but it seems it wasn't offered and continued check out. We booked this hotel in January. How is it possible to have had this room? We didn't book last minute and you guys had a better room when we asked to change room but was denied. Never again. Horrible! Terrible! We will never come back.

This was a fantastic property if you are planning on visiting the area. We are a family of 4 and were most impressed with this facility. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The only issue we had was having to constantly go to the front desk to ask for towels as a couple days our room wasn't cleaned and restocked with the right amount of towels. Minor issue. The proximity to the Tidal bore was really neat as well. Everything you need is very close to this hotel.

Great, recently renovated hotel with a castle-like feel. Ample room for a family with a young baby who needs to move around after a long road trip! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very comfortable bed and pillows but the bed was too high so kids have to jump high up on it or parents had to left the kids on the bed. The room had no shower stall and the bath tub was also high for kids to go in themselves Had great breakfast hot water tea or coffee 24 hours. Watching muddy river raising and falling every day for a week wasn’t fun after few days

Even with the renovations you can still know the building is older. It gave me ‘motel vibe’ from the food to the customer service to the constant noisy children. Room was good though! Overall a great pass through.

We stayed for 2 nights for our anniversary friday night was excellent not one complaint then saturday night there was kids playing hockey in the halls loud yelling hitting things called front desk after 30 minutes one of the children mothers spoke to the children after another 15minutes kids were quiet for maybe 20 minutes then same thing again no one from hotel came to check etc when checking out told reception how loud it was and response was they r here alll week!! We actually checked out earlier on sunday because we were so fed up with the noise on saturday night! And I am sure we couldnt have been the only ones to compain

Slept like a baby!

Nice room. Hockey tournament was there kids running up and down halls until 10pm which apparently front staff said was quiet time. In my opinion kids should never be running up and down the halls screaming.
