Grizz Hotel

Great staff..wonderful ambassadors of the city and hotel. Only down side,is WiFi..pretty much non existence. And the walls are a bit thin,especially with kids,but they are asleep earlier I guess. Great location

This is not good for families. Don’t book. The breakfast was pretty bad too. No service at desk. After 9pm. Equipment in rooms is broken. Luck that none broke the car . No good all restaurants close early in the area.

The Hotel rooms were pretty average and clean. The breakfast included wasn't the best but also not terrible. The parking lot/front entrance could use some work to be a little more inviting. It was fine for me and my family and travellers passing through.

We stayed the week before on the 2nd floor . It was quiet. Once again the room was clean, air condition worked , beds were comfortable. But this time we were on the first floor and were told it was susceptible to noise. Thinking outside noise or noise from upstairs. Wow , the people beside us had 2 rooms and let their 4 kids run wild between the rooms. Doors slamming, and the 3-4 adults were just as loud. I had a chat with one of the adults, as did another customer, about the noise but it didn’t help much. It finally got quiet about an hr later. Stay on the second floor

The receptionist was great at check in, very friendly and professional. The room was horrid. It was extremely dated but beyond that my family and I had the absolute worst nights sleep of our lives. The floor creaking above us, and the guests in that room stomping all over the place. The door to the room would randomly shift in the frame and make a LOUD noise. This startled me awake about 15 times through the night. The shower was constantly dripping (heavily) despite the fact that we hadn’t used it that night. It was overall just an awful stay. It was a last minute booking on our way back home from Vancouver Island and it was all we could find that wasn’t $500.. I’m still pretty shocked we paid $230 for one night in this place. Wouldn’t stay again.

Family with younger kids. Great stay. Hotel as described. Upgrades in the bathroom and comfortable beds.

A very nice hotel. I like the ambiance and the way it looks, my family were beey amaze to all Of the rose wood furniture..

The children in the room above us were noisy through the night, running back and forth, etc. Maybe have families with children on the main floor??

stayed with 2 young children. walkable to restaurants and playground. clean

This is more a pack-packers hotel with paper thin walls,definitely not for older people or families with children. The free 'breakfast ' choice was VERY VERY POOR AND OF A VERY POOR QUANTITY.
