Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa

This time it was my children to participate in a golf tournament. We like that the resort has a kitchen. We can make whatever we like for breakfast. There are blue bin for recycling in the kitchen, but no green food waste bins were found. The surrounding supermarkets are about 5 minutes' drive and the transportation is quite convenient. There are few restaurants around, and the only restaurant in the hotel serves average food. Resort stuff are very friendly, always Smail and supportive.

Great family friendly atmosphere! The hotel is pretty clean but a bit dated in terms of decor and finishing. Otherwise staff were accommodating and the location is hard to beat!

Great family vacation spot. My kids loved the pool and can’t wait to go back! Loved how quiet it was in the rooms as you didn’t hear others. Staff were great, property is great… no complaints.

Booked a 1 bdrm for 3 nights and a regular suite for 5 nights. We were upgraded to a 2 bdrm in the south building south facing, then a 1 bdrm in the north building overlooking the pool. Loved the south building one due to quite lake view. The pool one also faced the natural wetland and the continuous wildlife noise spoiled the ambience so we did not sit on the balcony much. The frogs and birds became very annoying. Both buildings are very clean and our sleep was very peaceful. No noise even when sleeping in. Housekeeping only comes in if you prebook,so no disturbances. You do not pay extra either. The hot tub in the north building is smaller but great lake view and more privacy and relaxing (kids are not using it as a warm pool).

Great location, and far exceeded my expextations. Very nice rooms, very clean, great faciilities! Great place to take a family. Also nice to have a full functioning kitchen.
