Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge

It is an old property the floors were renovated but all the walls were old. There was limited wall plus for charging phones. Everything was run with extesion cords including the a/c. There was no thermostat that we saw so the baseboard heaters had to be turned off and on beside each one. In general it wasnt bad and the view was wondeful. This property could use a big renovation and the addition of something for kids would be nice aswell.

Me and my family stayed in Room 2 for one night. During our check in, the front desk staff wasn't friendly or courteous at all. She just asked for my payment and handed me our room key. There was even no information on what number to call in case of emergency, wifi password and breakfast time. By the time we went to our room, I used their bathroom and I must say, the bathrooms smells/stiky. i also noticed that their towels has stains! the same applies to their pillowcase, good thing we brought with us pillowcases and blankets. Morning came at around 8AM, their front desk was not yet opened so we have no idea where to get our breakfast inclusion. Overall, we had a terrible stay. Their rooms are not even sound proof so we can hear childrens playing on the upper floor. The only thing that I liked in this property is the view. I will never recommed and stay in this property again.

The night staff was so rude and corn to get my credit card no while I was standing outside in the cold. He was extremely unprofessional and threatening me with “do you want to check in or not ?” I was with family otherwise I would reply. Moreover, he was stating that “I have your credit card information you can go whenever you want to go”. Finally he allowed me to check in as he already changed. When we came to room, it was so cold as someone left the window open. Water was running so cold. When my wife call to the guy he was saying “we don’t have other room, it is what it is” The room full of dog hair everywhere, you might will see google reviews with pictures on the same property later on.

The bathroom the toilet the room and the beds were dirty. We payed the room breakfast. Breakfast time 8-10. We went to eat at 9, and run out almost everything for this time. A few families was there and we talked what we eat,.... We called the reception number and the reception man and lady arrived about 20 minutes later and we still didn't get breakfast. When they arrived didn't say hi or good morning, didn't apologize and didn't bring any food. We will never go back. Absolutely negative reviews 😒.

I’m very disappointed with this hotel and the staff. The moment we entered our room we noticed that the bedding was dirty and there were a few drops of blood on the fitted sheets. When we went complain there was no one at the reception. There were not even any cups (plastic /carton) to drink water or tea. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially families with children.

This lodge was beautiful it was very scenic and had so much room to be comfortable! Check in was easy and conveniently! Breakfast though was a bit embarrassing 2 boiled eggs in a paper bad with a kids fruit juice and packet of biscuits. But hey o wasn’t really hungry anyway! I will be booking again.
