Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oyster Bay

Fresh and new hotel -everything clean and in good repair. This is definitely a family hotel as everyone there had kids and were taking full advantage of the pool and water slide. Me and the kiddo rode the slide about 40 times! Breakfast was included, which is always a nice touch. Not much around, but there's a few essentials like gas, liquor and cannabis. ;-)

Perfect for a short stay. Buffet breakfast and pool/slide were awesome to have for the kids. Pool and rooms were really clean.

The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel had 2 elevators so there were no long waits. The front desk and breakfast room staff were very accommodating . The buffet breakfast was reasonable with various options, there was a Keurig coffee machine in the room. There was a nice outdoor area with a gas barbecue and gas fire ring and lounge seating. The pool and hot tub area were a big hit with families. You need a car to stay here. I would stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights and thought everything was top notch.. It was located just right for family to visit. We loved the pool hot tub and water slide. The breakfast had a good selection of hot food .

After booking mix up off Expedia .. they kindly allowed me to check in early , after I arrived and the wrong room was reserved the front desk referred me to call Expedia and offered zero help Realizing that they where fully booked and we couldn’t switch they kindly accommodated to give me extra blankets and pillow so we could make it work After checking in we noticed urine splashes all over the bathroom floor it’s was late so we just went to sleep There for only a one night stay I showed pictures to front desk in the morning prior to out check out and apologize but didn’t discount or make up for it in any way Travelling with a small child that’s on the floor all the time, I find this highly unhygienic and irresponsible!! Housekeeping and customer service could be improved!

Overall happy with the accommodation. Staff is fantastic. So friendly and efficient! 👌👏💯 This a great option for families with kids.

This is a great hotel. The waterslide is amazing with smaller kids as it ends in a chute and not in the pool. The pool and hot tub are nice. The staff are friendly and the rooms are noce. The only thing we found that was missing was an actual restaurant mearby as A&W is walka le but not somewhere we wanted to eat. The hotel is also close to the YCD airport whoch is convenient.
