We were celebrating several family events and the Douglas made each one of them feel special! We felt celebrated and extremely well accommodated! Thank you for paying attention to every little detail!

Super friendly staff at the hotel! We brought our dog and everyone welcomed our furry kid. Room was beautiful and the line of Aesop products makes it even fancier. I would have enjoyed it even more if there wasn't a casino attached to it. Unfortunately too many people smoke on the street (by the door), there's cigarette butts everywhere and the smoky air gets circulated within the hotel.

In my experience, the stay at the property was satisfactory as the building was clean and staff were nice, even though we did move rooms for convivence the room that we were placed into was a joint connecting room with the door locked but could still hear the other side. Everything was great until the stay was ruined with kids from the other side pulling on the door trying to unlock it along with non stop crying.

Our family of 4 stayed for 4 nights in two double rooms. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff was super firenfly and helpful, and we were grateful to be offered late check out. The housekeeping staff did an excellent jobcleaning and restocking our rooms promptly. The neighborhood was also beautiful and we were happy we chose this area over the crowded and somewhat dirty and idsappointing downtown area. Yaletown was clean, close to the waterfront and had plenty of nice restaurants. The only "complaint" I would have is that the double rooms were pretty small. Thry had one very uncomfortable desk chair and a pretty useless bench, so if we were to stay all 4 of us in one such room it would have been extremely uncomfortable. The rooms were decorated nicely (modern style) but the colors were all very dark and the rooms felt dark throguhout the day. The hotel itself also had very little amenities to offer to a family (it hasa casino, so itismore geared to adults than children).
