The expression "lipstick on a pig" applies really well in regards to this hotel. Definitely an older property that is trying to pass itself up as more luxury hotel.
From the minute we arrived the overall experience was mediocre. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so had to kill two hours before we could get up to our room.
Once we got the keys we proceeded to take the elevator up to the 9th floor. One of two elevators was out of order. When we entered the one functioning elevator with other guests who got off at lower floors, my wife and i found ourselves trapped in the elevator because our key cards had not been properly programmed and as such would not allow us to access our floor or any other. Thankfully someone had called for the elevator so we were able to get back to lobby.
Our room was ok, much of the furniture was beat up and the finish peeling off the desk and side tables.
We were given a room with an adjoining room, which had been rented to young highschool kids who were celebrating their graduation. Needless to say we got very little sleep. When I went to the front desk to complain, their lack luster response was that they would call the room. That took the noise level from a 10 to about an 8.
The next morning I went to use the pool, hot tub and sauna before breakfast. Sauna wasn't working, hot tub was Luke warm and the pool was so chlorinated my eyes were burning for most of the day.
Needless to say I do not recommend this highly over priced hotel!

Relatively good hotel. Kids loved the bidet. This area of Chilliwack seems to have gone sideways with big city problems like drugs and homeless. The only working elevator was sketchy and heard a kid crying because he got stuck in it. Lots of sirens and someone doing burnouts in the entrance disturbed our night. Even with the bad things we would stay again.

They do not take cats at this hotel. I was very disappointed to be turned away and have to look for another hotel. It was very upsetting to say the least. If they are pet friendly, they should take all kinds of family pets! Never booking with them ever!!.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the coast! A group of 8 of us stayed in a connected room. The rooms were nice, the view we had was great overlooking the pond. Check in was easy, we were able to get a late check out which was super handy. AC worked well, pool, hot tub and sauna were a great addition-the kids in the group loved them and went every day. Couple of small things- the bathroom sink only had hot water one night which was kind of odd because the shower was fine? Not sure what happened there but it wasn’t a big enough issue for us to complain. The bathroom floors and corners were kind of dirty looking and the walls and such looked a bit run down. There was a grocery store, coffee shop, subway, gas station etc right across the street so that’s extremely handy for running over and grabbing things quickly. We enjoyed our stay very much and will certainly book again the next time we come back to Chilliwack.

Excellent hotel. Great place to have dinner with the family. My bath tub drain didn't have the best seal so water in tub slowly drained. No biggie. Will stay again and recommend to friends

I would not stay here again. we paid $500 for two nights and it was absolutely not worth it. The area is very sketchy. The hotel is dirty, and not maintained. The sink was cracked. My husband and I had to share full-size beds with our children. For that price, no breakfast is included. The room was very small and felt like a motel. The beds were uncomfortable. My daughter got sick the first night and we removed all bedding, including the duvet. When the cleaning lady came she questioned why we had put it out. Were they planning on putting that back on the bed for the next guest? Probably... Just because it didn't actually look dirty it didn't mean it should not be washed. My daughter threw up! We wanted to be considerate of the next guests. She seemed annoyed that we had removed it from the room and questioned it. The rooms need to be deep cleaned and even then It's just not worth the money. We will never stay here again.

They didn't clean our room the entire time we stayed there (3 nights), because of some green initiative program (sounds like a good way for the hotel to cheap out on doing extra work...well we asked every morning please can you at least restock our towels and coffee, and each time we came back to the room to find nothing restocked, no garbages taken out, nothing - we payed $1000 for three nights stay, and they can't even take the garbages out? I guess stay here if you like doing your own cleaning.
Also, not very welcoming for families. Our kids were swimming in the pool and someone poked there head into the pool area and told us to be quiet - little kids voices echoing in a pool area, what is it supposed to be a library? No breakfast included either. Very bare bones and run down hotel.

The front desk and restaurant staff were great. The room was clean. Pool and hot tub are a little older but we’re still fun for kids
