We took my in-laws and my son for a family weekend trip to Victoria. The hotel was super clean which is important since I’ve stayed in not so nice ones. The beds were super comfy, even the pull out sofa bed that my son slept on. The staff was helpful and gave us a ton of towels to use since it was pretty warm out and my husband and son took a couple showers a day. We went down for some drinks at the lounge one evening and the pins coladas were great also. The only thing I would say is that while the location was downtown and pretty close to restaurants and pubs and china town, it was a little farther from the water but no problem if you’re fine with walking.

Area around the hotel is a little unsafe you see a lot of folks using drugs near the area but so far harmless just would not take a family with more just couples.

We had a really nice stay at the Rialto. All the staff are competent and super friendly. Our room was big, heated bathroom floor was nice. We had to leave a day early due to family issues and the front desk staff were accommodating and efficient. We will be back, a big thank you to everyone at the Rialto.

We had an excellent 5-night stay at Hotel Rialto. Special shout-out to Arlene at the front desk, who remembered our names, made everything work well, and honestly made us feel like family. The hotel is very well run, clean and attractive, and they are trying their very best to make guests happy and comfortable.

A staff named ariene o mailey was very rude she yelled at my child because he asked a simple question and she got mad for no reason and the service was very upsetting and the rooms had barely any wifi it was very loud in a bad location with cars and buses very loud all night and birds kept screaming and we asked them about it and they said “deal with it” very upsetting service

Great location, staff are very friendly. Good coffee options. The restaurant downstairs is lively and the food very good, though pricey. Parking is across the street in another building and not easy to get to and the gym is also somewhere else. Overall very good though and recommended for a stay in Victoria, but not with kids.

My family was excited to visit Canada while their dad was on a port call. Unfortunately the bathroom pictures were misleading. We only had a small stand up shower and being on a ship for a month we were looking forward to having a tub to soak in. Other than that everything else was lovely. Walking distance to all the places we love to visit ❤️

Their restaurant and bar are both closed on Sundays and Mondays, so that was inconvenient for our family. We would have enjoyed having a place downstairs to meet and have a few drinks or a meal.
