Holiday Inn Express & Suites Victoria - Colwood, an IHG Hotel

I love that they now allow pets and am so grateful for that. We're in the middle of moving so the hotel was the only option at the time. Everything was fine when we got there, but after I put 2 of my girls in the bath and started to unpack/settle, another family opened the door and almost walked right in, almost letting my dog out. We then got a call saying they gave us the wrong room, so we had to repack and get the kids dressed and out again. We got to our new room and it was fine except for the top latch/lock on the door didn't work. But the staff in the morning was very kind and considerate. We were coming downstairs for breakfast, found out they had just shut down but the staff asked and they allowed my family to grab some breakfast quickly.

The receptionist was so kind to help us fix the date of our stay. I accidentally booked the wrong date. Thanks to Andres who helped me and my family and that we had a place to stay for the night.

Rooms are comfortable, nice and clean. Good size family room of 6 people.

I really enjoyed from this place with my family and will never forget this trip . I really appreciate from there service . Thanks a lot

We are still currently here at the hotel, and I got disappointed when the staff called us last night around 8:30pm, saying that we are noisy, but that time, my family already sleeping, so how come someone complaining a noise from our room. I ask for slippers, no slippers. Body wash is empty when we came in 😔

Great breakfast, great pool for kids!

Nice facility, pool for kids, great location close to Langford, Victoria General Hospital and easy access to downtown.

Staff were wonderful, very accommodating, friendly and down to earth while remaining professional. I took off one star solely for the elevator situation in the mornings. One elevator for the size of the building is just silly & surprising. Breakfast was good, hot & cold choices and variety for children. My room was quiet and very comfortable.

We wanted a pool and a free breakfast and enough room to sleep 5. The suite was perfect for all of us. The pool was quite small but just fine for our kids.

I like that it's really clean, has a modern style and it helps that it's spacious for my kid who likes to move around a lot. Spacious washroom as well i love it. The only thing that disappoints me is that during booking it's showing the amount in cad (it says cad for sure!)then when I paid for it I was charged in US dollar. Nothing was ever mentioned in the website that the rate was in US dollar, only after I received the confirmation. So i ended up putting out more money than I expected and it's non refundable! I did it on expedia. That had me frustrated and probably won't be using expedia again.
