Our accommodations were great and the Staff were very friendly and that made to a very nice weekend. The food in the Restaurant was a bit pricey but it was well presented and tasty. The bar staff did a great job as well. As it was a weekend stay there were a lot of children and they could be a bit noisy at times. Most of the time they were at the pool and away from the adults. Great stay.

Love the hotel. The room service food was okay. Not the greatest. On our floor there was a least a few families that let their kids run around the hallway until we asked them to stop. Lots of yelling and screaming. Including at 8am Sunday morning. When this was brought up with the staff, there were already several complaints but nothing done about it.

We stayed 2 nights and liked our room. We had noisy drunk neighbours but they stopped by midnight so that was good. Room service was good, but my steak dinner was not as listed on the menu. The pool was ok. Small so when several kids came we left. The hot tub was relaxing. But a couple came with open liquor and I was surprised that was tolerated as the kids were there too. Glad we had the experience but probably will not be returning.

I liked the hotel, lights in the hall ways could use some brighter bulbs. Food was great and so we’re the staff. Only thing that wasn’t great was the water quality of the pool and spa. I wouldn’t wish on anyone to get in that water as it was disgusting. I’m in the pool industry, and I made it aware to them that they weren’t in compliance with health and safety based on the conditions of the water. They didn’t do anything about it, which in my opinion isn’t okay. So be aware of the pool and spa before you enter, especially your children.

Friendly, kind staff. We stayed over Christmas. They put a gift under the Christmas tree for our child. It was unexpected and very nice.

Lovely family-friendly property. Really good restaurant on site. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were warm and helpful. Location on the ocean was great, and our grandson loved the indoor pool. We stayed as a family of four in a room with 2 queen beds. Our only complaints were that the pool area was worn out and needs renovating, and the mattresses were too soft and therefore uncomfortable for us. We would easily stay here again, especially when the grandkids visit.

Nice location, rooms a little dated but clean, probably what you would expect for a 3* hotel, lobby and restaurant were very nice. Outdoor area nice but 3 of 4 fire pits were not working. Cafe in lobby open only minimal hours and service was very slow. Restaurant food was very good and did not have trouble getting a table. Swimming pool was not cleaned water was cloudy, hot tub water was almost green with algae growth on tile surround. This was the only part that let us down on this trip especially staying with young kids who wanted to swim every day. Could be a good pool if they maintained it. Saw seals in harbour and several restaurants were only a few minutes drive.

Excellent location and a relatively quick drive to Victoria for sight seeing. Hotel is impressive and the rooms are lovely. The pool was disappointing as it is murky and doesnt feel clean. The dock outside to watch the seals was a bonus for our kids
