Me & my boyfriend stayed here for his birthday weekend with our 2 dogs. We absolutely fell in love with this resort in jasper and highly recommend! The staff was so helpful and nice, the amenities were great. The pyramid hike being right there was also really nice (the hike was amazing) the resort is very quiet and not too far from town but enough away where it was very peaceful at night & we got to see some wildlife early in the morning outside our room door. we truly overall loved the experience at this resort and will definitely be back! We are planning a family trip in the summer & we all can’t wait to experience this place in the summer. Although it’s on the pricer side we both agreed it was worth every dollar spent to stay here.

Location was beautiful and rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Restaurant onsite was seafood so we didn't eat there as not our thing and had young kids. Lots of places in town though which is only a short drive away.

Marketing team is top notch. The website makes this place look amazing. They need a raise.
End up not being able to checkin on time due to cleaning staff being overworked. Smelled like dog piss and there were stains on the carpet, one of which was still wet. Hide a bed might be from the 70's we pit the mattress on the floor for our child and it seemed to help.
3 bike rentals for a facility this size seems like theyre just worried about justified resort fees. No electric bikes and havent been for a couple seasons apparently and the 1 electric boat was being repaired. There were kayaks and canoes though. I didnt see any paddleboats.
Overall, not worth the rates they charge. For a little more you stay at the Fairmont and access everything pyramid has, free of charge.

Nice serene and quiet location facing Lake Pyramid. Loved the complimentary boating where we took our 1 year old grandchild on her first ever Kayak trip. The staff was friendly and helpful - complimentary coffee and water bottles helped. Location was picture perfect and one could sit there for hours facing the lake My daughters enjoyed the Yoga class on Tues mornings . Nice easy hike to Pyramid Island . Downtown Jasper with restaurants and shops was a 10 minute drive . The RockyMountainSoap company’s shampoo and conditioner was good quality and refres
Webooked 2 rooms through Expedia several months back and was hoping the good rooms would be allotted first come first serve basis but felt we did not get the rooms with the best views as they were right in the corner blocking the lovely lake view and also on the ground floor not easily accessible to the parking spots - had to carry our bags down and up the staircase . With a baby and a 60 year old with luggage was not convenient so if you book make sure the rooms are at the parking level 1 and not ground floor in the front building . Maybe Expedias room blocks are not the ones with the best views. Anyways hotels here are very pricey and maybe I would have booked directly and paid a bit more to get better rooms.
The restaurant in the hotel does not have too many vegetarian options .
Overall happy with the location and proximity to the vegetarian food options .

Our stay at Pyramid Lake Lodge was fantastic. You cannot fully see the beauty of this property from the photos online. The lake and view of the mountains across the street is wonderful. They allowed us one free hour of use of their canoes etc for each night of stay. The kids enjoyed the beach. Internet can be off and on. We saw elk on the property both days we were there, the kids loved that as well. Close to town and nice walking trails nearby. Free latte machine and hot chocolate in the lobby. A beautiful sitting area out front with Muskoka Chairs around a gas fire pit and they offered free s’more kits each night for the kids to make s’mores. The pullout sofa wasn’t the most comfortable, but we found the beds to be extremely comfortable. Overall, a great experience!!

Overpriced facility that is a work in progress.
The advertised restaurant was still being worked on and not open. We were given a unit that had a long steep staircase to access. Not good for two seniors. The food put out in the morning was nothing more than coffee and stale croissant. The gravel road up the hill to the unit was narrow for only one car and badly rutted in need of paving including the parking lot by the unit. The bathroom was small and basic with the toilet paper holder out out reach from the toilet. The walls and floor are thin and very noisy with neighbors. Had to call the front desk at 10:50pm about the kids above running and jumping while we were trying to sleep. Expected much more due to rating.
Very disappointed, would not recommend

The resort is located next to the Pyramid Lake, beautiful views and easy access to the center of the lake. The suite I live has a functional kitchen and is very family friendly.

We were really excited to stay here for a family trip. The views are beautiful, loved that we could rent snowshoes, and skates free for an hour if you’re a guest. The restaurant food and service was the best part of our stay. When it comes to the rooms, it was so disappointing. Tiny rooms - which was fine, but the minute we walked into the room it was boiling like an oven. We tried to turn the thermostat down and off and the temperature just wouldn’t change, we had to sleep with the window and door wide open all night it was absurd. The water pressure would literally stop in the evenings and only droplets would come out of the tap. The worst is that there was so much snow and no staff or anyone would even shovel or clear the steps going up to the rooms and my elderly parents kept falling on them each time as it was was really slippery and covered. The rooms are renovated and clean and updated which was good though.
