Loved the room layout. Plenty of room for a family of 5. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great location and absolutely loved the size of our room which was spacious and clean. We booked a King suite which can sleep up to 6 people but it was super enjoyable for our family of 3. We were in room 36 which was really close to the train tracks so it was fun being able to see the train up close. We were so tired each night so the sound of the train running at night didn’t wake us up at all. Also being able to watch YouTube (bedroom and living room) was also an unexpected and appreciated bonus! The complimentary hot breakfast was such a nice touch which allowed us to get a head start on our day without leaving the property. They also have washer and dryers on site for those needing it. We were on the first floor but note if you are on the second, there isn’t an elevator. Overall we were really pleased with our stay!

Check in was easy, the king room provided extra space for our family, breakfast was good.

Breakfast was so good! Best we had at the four hotels we stayed at along our trip. The hot tub and steam room were nice, kids missed having a pool but we knew that before we booked. The location is very central and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a double queen room, not in the main building. A bit of a pain to walk across the parking lot in swim suits. The room was nicely renovated with nice decor. Bed was quite comfortable with nice bedding. We would stay here again.

Everything went fine, the family room was much more comfortable and wide then pictures seemed to show. Nice location, only thing in lake Louise it is hard to find anything to eat after a certain hour, but there is a convenience store just across the road with a gas station

We stayed as a family of 5, and were very comfortable. My son loved the all you can eat breakfast

This place is recently renovated and has pretty much everything available in the rooms. Nice place to stay with family.

My family and I had a two night stay booked at the Mountaineer Lodge as we were flying into Calgary on a Friday, and heading to Lake Louise for the weekend. On Friday morning our flight had been cancelled and rescheduled for the following day, meaning we would miss a night in Lake Louise. Even after explaining the whole situation to the hotel, we were quite disappointed that they did not consider allowing us to cancel our room for the Friday evening to receive a refund as it was impossible for us to get there since we were stuck on the other side of the country. I understand that there is a cancellation policy, but due to the circumstances and us already losing out on money, it was discouraging to hear that a refund or even a partial refund was not considered.
