Limit children in hotel facilities, disappointing to see this given it’s a hotel marketed for adults

Beautiful hotel with beautiful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and the kids loved it too.

I was very underwhelmed. I booked this night in the city for my family. The pool can not be used after 6pm by children, which I could only find in small print on the website when I looked for it afterwards. I think 7pm would be a better time as when the families were told to leave at 6pm, more than half the customers left the pool area. And we were ordering far more drinks and snacks than the people without kids. I was told when I made the booking that the restaurant Lollo would be able to accommodate my kids. No kids menu. My kids are 10 and 13, so they are not little and sat quietly. But I know the kids weren’t really welcome there. I think it’s more than find to be an adults only accommodation, but you need to state that like many other hotels do. The beds were super comfortable and the room was nice. But the shower. with no screen set up had water going everywhere. And charging $8 simply to deliver a coffee to the pool area is the service that should already be covered in the very high room rate fee. The room rate is very high for where the hotel is located and the service is just not worth that rate.

This hotel was perfect. I’d had a tough trip and it was a great way to end it on a good note! I’ve been to Melbourne dozens of times and tried out maybe 8 high end hotels to treat myself. This is my new favorite. The sheets and bed were amazing, the shower and bidet so nice, room service was excellent and the staff at the front desk very friendly and gave me an upgrade when I told them the difficult nature of my trip to visit sick family members. It was a tiny bit hard to find the actual entrance haha but that is literally my only complaint

It was the best hotel we have stayed at in the city. Staff were so warm and genuine, food was amazing, pool was well heated and fun for the whole family, brilliant room service, amazing decor in room, great views, bath was most luxurious, room was so clean, staff genuinely interested. We will be back for sure

So disappointed with this hotel. Totally overrated and no where near worth the price we payed. Rooms are small and the decor feels tacky not luxurious. No kids in the pool after 5pm was a total let down. Won’t be coming back.

The place feels very luxe when you walk in however, is very dark in pockets, which is quite uncomfortable. The room is as described in the website, but very big. The shower doesn't have a door which means noone else can use the toilet while someone else is there. The toilet paper was cheap, only single ply, not in step with the rest of the experience the hotel is trying to create. The pool was nice but definitely not designed for families. In fact while our stay was pleasant, i wouldn't consider it very family friendly, it's not the market they're aiming at.
