Perfect accommodation for our family weekend in Melbourne. Easy walkable access to shops and food. Great blackout blinds in the room which was also a bonus. Pool was also a great addition to the trip that the kids enjoyed. A little noise from the street and air conditioning but not enough to be a problem for us. Staff were friends and welcoming and we’d definitely return for future Melbourne trips.

Excellent service as soon as I walked in, got an upgrade room which was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back and would recommend to family and friends.

Great location, big family room, clean, we loved it. The only think we did not like is a loud music from the bar accros the road (till very very late) on Froday evening.

I had to book in this area at short notice and this was the best option for the price. The only room available was a family room with three beds. The room was fine, old but generally clean. There are not a lot of facilities at this hotel compared to others nearby. And during my stay of 2 nights, 2 of the 4 elevators were out of order/broken.

The location is great, central to so much and next to China town. The room was pretty blah (small and stuffy with loud air con), especially for the price; nothing more than a bed for the night. The pool was REALLY small and both the kids got gastro after being in it!

Great place to stay - super convenient. As others have noted, the refurbishment is nicely done. The room was lovely and well-appointed, the bathroom in particular was very clean and elegant, and the water pressure was excellent. Staff were friendly on arrival, which is nice. The absence of a minibar was greatly appreciated too - I always find displays of $5.00 bottles of water and mars bars a bit tacky, and they're a pain when travelling with children.

Our room (heritage queen) was very hot and the cooler was loud and ineffective. We barely slept as a result which damped our view of the stay. We’ve previously stayed in a family apparently that had split systems and had a wonderful stay. The queen rooms just need to be looked at.
