Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino

They are constructing a new building that closed half of one pool. The noise was loud from the work and near the other pool the other building for food had been closed. Food and drink service was from a food truck. The pool service was terrible and only 6 umbrellas around the remaining pool area. The main reason this hotel was chosen was the pool for our children.

Noisy and So Much Construction! Literally smashing and knocking down buildings with work trucks and cranes as we are sitting there under a $50 rented palapa on the beach trying to relax. New tower being built on one side. Thats fine I suppose because we were aware that would be the case.... even though the workers are hammering and shouting and drilling all day.... but they were also demolishing one of the beach bar restaurants next to the pool as we were sitting there. We were not notified that would be the case. I am a very patient and reasonable person, but we paid way too much money and traveled way too far for that to be the case on our trip. I feel like I let my family down planning this one ...

We really enjoyed our family vacation at the Hilton. Great location. Amazing restaurants right across the street. Beautiful beaches and pool.

The location is unbeatable in my opinion, everything you need is within walking distance. If you want to head to other parts of the island the staff will handle everything for you. The amount of options for drinking and dining is plentiful. The spa, workout facilities walking path to other resorts is right there. We are returning to Aruba at Christmas with our entire family and will be booking at the Hilton again.

We had a great family vacation. Nicest property in the area. Breezeway and lobby and seating around the hotel were so relaxing and comfortable.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the resort and will have great memories from our trip. All of the staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. We would all definitely go back again.

First of all, Aruba is by far the safest Caribbean destination that I have been to. The Hilton is on the best beach on the island, very swimmable, has many palapas available. There are two pools, the large one has about two thirds closed off due to construction of new building, but both pools are still sizeable. Hilton has done a nice job closing off the larger pool, as it doesn't look quite like a construction zone. You really have to look to see the construction and there is very little noise. Currently the work is at ground level, so soon as they build up it will be noticeable. The construction is actually next to the Riu and because the Hilton is on 25 acres, the Riu has more of the construction view and according to Riu reviews, appears the get more noticeable noise. Everyone that works at the Hilton does their best to make your stay pleasant. There is food service at the pool and has typical pool food and drinks and there is only one restaurant, and it is open for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is either their buffet, cook to order, or both. My family had a combination these options for seven days, food was very good. We had dinner there one night, very expensive, but very good. There are many food choices just across the street and we ate at different places local to the Hilton, within two minutes' walk. I was disappointed with google maps. For every restaurant in the area on google maps, there are about three more not shown and they are all very good.

My family and I visited this resort the first week of September we had a fantastic experience the staff was great but especially one person in the front desk her name was Kimberly. I initially had a concern about my reservation but Kimberly made sure she explained all my options in details and went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and my family’s needs. She was very pleasant and friendly. Her service was absolutely amazing.

Overall it is a solid 4 Star hotel. Rooms are outdated and older. The overall service is ok. Food quality is average. Location is excellent being close to many restaurants and shops. Has 2 nice pools for kids and adults. I would probably not return again.

The Aruba Hilton absolutely exceeded my family’s expectations. The location, property and amenities and all staff were top notch. Hoping to come back In December and stay in an ocean front room. But cannot say enough about everyone that works at the hotel. Fantastic and always willing to go above and beyond. Would definitely love to come back.
