The property is clean, the pool is beautiful, free breakfast was decent, and our room was spacious. The bathroom has a frosted glass sliding door with a big open gap and frosted glass window facing the bed inside the room. The front desk staff was not very welcoming. "May I help you?" or How are you? Would be nice. Three women working behind the desk chatting didn't acknowledge my family standing in front of them until I interrupted them. I saw some customers were given a welcome beverage others were not, we were part of the not group. They do not have service attendants to help with luggage. My parents are elderly with a disability and there was no one to assist. There was only one waitress working alone at the outside restaurant. It took over an hour to get a salad. She was very kind and apologizing for the service. The hotel is okay for maybe one or two nights. I would not recommend staying for a full week. There are other hotels and resorts with a similar price that are closer to the beach and more organized. Thankfully we were there for only one night.

The staff made the stay perfect. Grounds and rooms were kept immaculately. The restaurant on site can be busy but the servers were very attentive nonetheless. The kiddy play space, gym and yoga studio were great amenities to have. This hotel although not on the beach, has easy access to the beach. We were able to do multiple day trips to different beaches with cabs a plenty. Great stay, will come again.

One of the best hotels i've booked through expedia, I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff was friendly, pleasant and accomodating. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I slept like a baby in their king sized bed. The facility had everything I needed including a laundry room, gym, bar with good drinks and a pool. As for the location, its right across the street from the beach. You can walk 5 minutes to get there, or take the hotel-provided shuttle. It is right at the start of the strip. Leave the hotel, walk 5-minutes north and you have countless bars, restaurants and shops at your disposal. The only knock, if you want to call it a knock, is that it is not directly on the beach. But it is so close. that didnt really matter to us.....would recommend and would book again.

Hotel is on one end of Irasquin Blvd so nice and quiet at night. Close enough to the action but far enough away to get a good night sleep especially with little children in tow. Shuttle to beach was very convenient. There is construction in and around the Marriott beach for future St Regis hotel which wasn’t ideal but we would leave in the afternoon for the pool. Staff and chairs at beach were fine. Three pools on property were clean and never very packed. I loved the chill vibe of the hotel. Cabana beds available but have to get there early and leave stuff there to claim bc they go fast. Because it’s not a high rise hotel, if you forget something in the room, easy to return to room to retrieve without schlepping through hotel lobby and elevator. Rooms were very spacious, clean, nice with good WiFi and TV. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Fitness center is also available as is kid watch. Breakfast at hotel was good as was lunch, fairly standard fare. Also has a small snack shop and souvenir shop onsite. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend and return to stay as I felt it was a great price for an excellent and comfortable stay!

This resort is not on the beach. You have to cross the street and walk through another hotel’s lobby to get to the beach. Also, the staff was trying their best but the overall service was chaotic - the other guests staying there at the time were being unreasonable and disrespectful. Not sure if this resort attracts that kind of guest but that’s the feeling I got. The front desk staff was apathetic/didn’t seem like they wanted to be there, but all other staff was great. The food was solid (although just one restaurant on site), and the pool is very nice. Rooms were cleaned every day and the rooms were nice. The bathroom had a see-through glass door so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with family. The resort does have a designated spot on the beach with beach chairs and shaded areas.

I want to give an honest review of the Courtyard marriott, first thing the staff are all very kind overall and I don't have a problem with them. However, we stayed 6 nights and struggled with no hot water 3 days in a row. We requested room changes and did not get one. The 4th day we woke up to water all over our room not from us, it was told to the front desk who finally offered a potential room change which we didn't bother with because we were leaving the very next day. Those 2 things were absolutely displeasing. Other than that the resort is family friendly, and close to plenty of entertainment and dining in aruba.
