Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint

This hotel is lovely although a little on the expensive side of things. Drinks at the pool were rather expensive event during the ‘happy hour’. Speaking of the pool, the level and type of music being played was really unsociable. We had to ask for it to be turned down as it was really loud on the Monday morning we were sat there. Gangsta rap was also very inappropriate considering there were a number of children using the pool.

Our stay at Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint was not a great experience. The hotel is exactly as shown in pictures and the cleanliness was OK. However, all areas of the hotel lacked air conditioning so was extremely hot everywhere. The only escape was going into our room and blasting the air conditioning to keep cool. In addition to this, the bathroom cups provided are large circular glass cups, and when using this to brush your teeth, it can be extremely difficult and slippery to hold for someone who has small hands. After the glass slipped out of my hand and breaking in the sink whilst brushing my teeth, the only concern of the staff was getting the quote of the cost I will be charged for breaking the glass. I let them know that I had cut my hand from this accident and they should not be using large glasses that are difficult to hold in the bathroom. They did not express any apology or concern for my hand, but instead charged me a fine for property damage. I found this service extremely unprofessional as they do not care about their guests, but just for any money they can charge you. The only good part of our stay was the kind concierge staff that were always helpful to us and helped us arrange an excursion to the Mekong Delta which we thoroughly enjoyed. I will not be returning to Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint for my next stay and will recommend my family and friends to stay away from this hotel.

IPhone 14 & 15 cannot connect to WiFi but old version iPad ok. I guess is the low security WiFi was blocked by iPhone 14&15. Anyway, if anyone need to work online, this hotel is not ok. If family or couple relax trip, this is good choice. A few minutes walk to get to sightseeing spot and lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
