Hanoi Lotus Boutique Hotel

A nice and cozy place in the center of the Old Quarter in Hanoi. Amazing location with all kinds of restaurants and shops around. We had a big and comfortable bed and a cute little balcony. Perfect soundproofing, so we slept like babies. Absolutely adorable staff! Ladies Huong and Mia were so helpful and welcoming, they made us feel at home. We didn't want to leave 😊

It was very classy and the staff treated us like family; they were so caring and warm. It felt like home when we returned each night. Our room was sparkling clean every night, beautiful and so cozy. It was the best hotel we stayed in during our entire trip in Vietnam. (very good wifi btw)

This review is tough to write because I have mixed emotions. First, the pictures on booking apps are likely mock-ups or from when the hotel was first built—they don’t match the current condition. Despite some issues, this hotel was good value for the price, and Anna and Mia, the receptionists, were outstanding, even better than those in some 5-star hotels. Now, onto the issues: repairs are needed urgently. There are water stains on the walls, and the toilets don’t flush properly. You can hear water pipes whenever someone uses the shower or flushes. The cleaning was okay, but remotes and hard-to-reach spots needed more attention. I requested Clorox wipes to clean, but the language barrier made it difficult, so I used baby wipes. The breakfast options were nice, but there were ants on the plates, and the waitress just washed the plates and put the same food back on. The positives: Anna went above and beyond, whether it was changing sheets, getting ice, or finding medicine. She even walked me to the pharmacy and helped with translation. Mia was equally attentive, paying for my rides and assisting at the pharmacy for my son. Their service turned a tough experience into a positive one, and I would return because of them. This hotel is also perfectly located, within walking distance to many attractions and food options.

Excellent hotel, great local we were able to walk everywhere from here. We had previously stayed in another hotel in Hanoi and cancelled our stay to go here instead because the hotel was so awful and wow this hotel was absolutely excellent. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, the room was fab & a few hours into our stay the hotel staff came up with fruit & cookies as a gift such a nice touch, the breakfast was great too. Will 100% recommend to any friends & family.

We felt extremely welcome, right from the reception. I was travelling with my extended family and Ms Anna helped us with all our doubts and recommended a cruise that turned out to be excellent. Her service was exceptional! The hotel is centrally located and an easy walking distance from many of the sights in and around old quarters. There are multiple options for food and cafe in the area.

The room was modern and the beds were very comfy. The family room was very spacious for our family of four with an 11 year old and 13 year old. the location was very close walking distance to all Hanoi sights. the breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful.

The staff are super friendly and the hotel is immaculate. I took the family room that had a great balcony to sit out on in the evenings. It is located very conveniently to all the attractions. The staff are very knowledgeably and always happy to help. They arranged a trip to Ha Long Bay for me and it was very open, informative and transparent. I loved this, place so much I extended my stay.

The reviews on Expedia is not correct. We booked 2 rooms and mine got upgraded to balcony. Our kids room had a smell of mold so we quickly got our stuff and checked in into O’Gallery premier which was the best decision we made. It was 9.6 ratings and honestly to me like 6.

The breakfast was great and the family Terrace room was perfect with lots of space for our kids to play and amazing city views. The hotel team was helpful and so friendly, definitely recommend.
