Country Inn River Falls

The check in experience was the end of the positive part of this hotel experience. The pool was a bit grubby & dated. You could see chemical layer on top of pool and hot tub. Temp was good I requested the 2nd floor, was not granted upon check in told they had a large group request the whole top floor. WTH There were kids running around the hallway & jumping off beds all night. Finally called front desk at 11:45pm, desk attendant said she could do anything about what people do in their own rooms even though quiet hours start at 10pm. Needless to say we did not sleep at all until 1am, just to get up at 6am. Worst Stay Ever

The beds were uncomfortable. I could feel every spring. The pool smelled like mildew. There was black mold in the windows by the hot tub. Our shower sprayed out and leaked. It got things on the counter wet and left a lake in the bathroom. Breakfast was not what was described. The staff at the front desk are all kids and we’re rarely there. Upon check out, staff didn’t care about our concerns.

very clean room, loved the hours of the pool where they had family hours until a certain time then after that adult only. Alot of loud kids that were there due to a hockey tournament in town but not the hotel's fault.

It was a decent place to sleep for just one night while passing through, but I certainly wouldn't "vacation" here. The front desk help were kind enough but it was hard to get their attention where they were in the back room and you could tell they were watching movies on their phones and it was an interruption to something they'd rather be doing when you did finally get their attention to help you with something. We had booked only one night, but the next morning by 10:30 (check out was 11), they were banging on our door. My husband and I were in the bathroom so my children answered the door to be asked if we were leaving or staying another night. My son said we were leaving. 15 minutes later, the phone rang, and they asked us to meet them down at the front desk... We knew and understood what time check out was... we DIDN'T know they would harass us about leaving multiple times within the hour before check out! If people have until 11 to check out, please actually give them until 11 to check out without bothering them as they are getting showered and ready to leave. I wouldn't come back.

The hotel was well maintained and clean. A nice little stop in River Falls. The pool was well kept up as well, and very popular with the kids.
