Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Paul-Woodbury, an IHG Hotel

We have family that live in River Falls, but this is the second time we have stayed at this location. Close to the freeway and shopping and restaurants. We will be back. If you stop here check out the Lakewood Tavern!

It was just ok. My husband and I wanted to use the hot tub but there were kids in the pool area. We went back down 2 other times and they were still there. We never got to enjoy the hot tub

This has been our place to stay when we visit family in the area but this stay was not as comfortable as it has been in the past. We constantly had issues with our room keys and had to return to desk to get new keys almost every time we returned to our room. The key always worked to the fitness room but never to our room. Also the room heater constantly made an annoying noise when it turned on and tried to heat the room. We alerted the management and a service guy was sent to check on it but it was never fixed so we just turned it off entirely and had to hope that the room would maintain its heat for comfort. Typically this is an excellent location and stay for us; it is very clean; very friendly front desk and awesome breakfast lay out.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have a great complimentany breakfast, i would only say that it would be nice if they had more fresh fruit. The hotel is located in the perfect spot next to all the shopping stores and by the freeway which is convenient. I would definitely stay again and recommend family to stay there.

Last minute, at midnight I had to book this room and when I arrived I had realized that I had left my ID at an establishment earlier and couldn’t get it at that time. I understand that and ID is needed, however I had a scanned copy and other documentation to prove it was me. But the front desk person was very rude and unwilling to look at my digital ID and documents. He stated that there was nothing he could do for me and that it was my problem. I asked if we could call a mgr or supervisor to ask for assistance and he stated that he was the mgr and it was his decision and there was nothing he could do. It was 2 am and I was on my motorcycle so I asked in I can stay for a bit to warm up in the lobby, he say for 30 mins and then I had to go. He proceeded to ignore me the rest of the time. I had to sleep outside next to my motorcycle during a 40 degree night. Will not be staying nor recommending your location to friends or family.

Visiting family. Hotel is being updated. Stayed on the third floor that had the updates completed. Very nice, Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Will stay again.

It was good but pool was broke so couldn’t go swimming which was upsetting for kids.

It was ok, besides our television not working in our room (kids not happy about that)

It was good until the people upstairs let their kids run around all night long. Still it was a good stay

Our stay experience wasn't above in comparison to past stays at Holiday Inn Express and Suites. We stayed the weekend and the room was average, no USB connectivity for electronic devices, bathroom fan was very loud, main door wouldn't self close and had to force the door shut. During free breakfast, dining room was small with children running around and playing games on computers. We had to go back to our room to eat breakfast. I will say the lady at the front desk was very friendly when we checked in and out.
