Comfort Inn Plover-Stevens Point

We have stayed here before and everything was very nice, which is why we booked again! However, this time it was very different. The moment you walked in the door it was a dirty dusty cigarette smell. We got to our room which was nothing special. The clock had been unplugged, the heat was turned off. Being in December it was pretty cold in there. So we turned on the heat which did not seem to regulate itself properly and the fan would continue to turn on and off, (which is normal if that's how you want it set) We had no option if we wanted it always on or always off, it was very loud and would be on for a couple minuets and off for about 10 sec and repeat. There were not a lot of people on this particular day/night however they managed to put a couple with a child right upstairs over our room that continued to run and yell. So between the noise from the fan constantly shutting on/off every few min/sec and the kid, we did not get much sleep because not only was everything loud and it smelled bad the pillows were like fluffy marshmallows and the bed was uncomfortably hard, the sheets did not fit properly so they rolled up if you turned over. Very very disappointed! We will not stay there again!

Clean room, very family friendly. Checking in and out was super easy and fast. Will book again in the future. Pool water was questionable but could be because it was used often by guests, from what we saw during our stay.
