The Lodge at Mauston

Beautiful clean rooms. Breakfast good. Usual choices. Cozy lobby. Clean pool and hot tub. Stayed 2 nights while visiting family. Wasn’t crowded. Very quiet. Slept well on a comfy bed. No water in the room fridge but lobby had a place to buy. Had dinner at the restaurant was good entrees pricey. Just had a nice chicken sandwich reasonably priced. Would stay again

The place was full of families, some sort of baseball thing and lots of screaming and running around. The hot tub was closed off due to an alleged leak. Then, at 1:15 AM the fire alarm goes off in the entire place and lasts about 10 minutes. Due to heavy storms in the area, it was unclear if this was a tornado warning at that point. Either way, a very disruptive stay by any means.

The food, cleanness, big rooms were awesome. I didn’t like the squeaky bathroom door and children in hot tub. No one under age 16 should be allowed in hot tub. They weren’t following rules they would stay in for 20 to 40 minutes. It is suppose to be a relaxing time for the adults not kids….

Lodge was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Would recommend to friends and family.

The hotel was amazing! It couldn’t have been cleaner and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier! The rooms a beautiful and large. Loved the patio open to the back so the children could run and play. The only thing I would change is the temp of the pool was too cold to swim with my children (they didn’t mind as much but preferred the hot tub because of how cold it was). This is a big deal to us because our children always want to swim which means mom and dad have to swim too, so PLEASE consider turning up the temp of your pool significantly, and you will have the PERFECT stay! We stay at a lot of hotels and this is probably on of the nicest (apart from the pool temp).
