Comfort Suites Parkersburg South

I have stayed here a few times in the past and it's an ok place but the pool was really nice and that's why i stay there. They closed the pool the day after we checked in and when asked about it i was told they weren't getting it fixed anytime soon and no reimbursement or compensation will be provided. I was there almost a week and other places were already booked up. I have kids and they were very disappointed that they could not swim at all on our vacation.

The AC unit in the room was loud and squeaky. The seemed to be a family of elephants above us one of the nights who stampeded back and forth across the room all night.

Overall our stay was great. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our hallway tho smelled of weed the entire time and trying to use the pool/hot tub was impossible. It didn’t matter whether 7am or 11pm there was kids acting up(I have kids so I know they play, splash, jump etc) it wasn’t that it was the putting chairs, tables, cones, cussing, knocking into you, etc. It was as if they live there it seemed. Kids screaming at 8 in the morning cuz they were locked out of the room and cussing the mom cuz they had been up all night and wanted to sleep. Just a lil crazy but the room itself is nice.
