La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Morgantown

We were greeted by a very friendly front desk who got us checked in immediately. We had 2 rooms right next to each other which worked great. However one of the rooms had obviously not been cleaned. It smelled like chlorine, bed wasn’t made etc. We went back to the front desk and it turns out the room was accidentally marked as inspected. This was probably the easiest resolution I have ever had at a hotel. Kimber got us right away into another room that was one 2 door down from the other room. The rooms are great. They are nice and spacious. The bathrooms are clean too! We slept like babies that night. I highly recommend this hotel! (It was pricey but it was an event weekend, so we understood that!)

I came to your hotel to stay the night because my little girl had her preop for a major surgery called reconstructive skull surgery she is 6. I chose this hotel, thinking we’d have a wonderful time and get to swim and all that. I have several problems. The first problem is, my 11 year old son came with me and he has autism and bipolar disorder. Well someone came and complained that he was being too nosey so they banged on our wall and reported us to the staff downstairs. When they called our room, the man who called was very hateful and stated, “our kids were making too much noise to quiet down” mind you this wasn’t even at bedtime when the complaint happened. If you don’t know anything about autism let me tell you. One, autism can be a very stimulating disorder and sometimes when a lot of going on my son gets overwhelmed and makes some noise. Secondly, I was in fear that I would be kicked out of the hotel at nighttime 3 and half hours away from home and have to sleep in the car with my kids and not make the appointment that morning. Next, we took the kids to the pool and there were girls down there screaming and doing cannonballs and caused a dangerous atmosphere for my children and screamed so loudly you couldn’t hear yourself even think. Even tho the pool says “no jumping or diving” the pool was cold as well and honestly I was disappointed. Easy check in . Quiet and very comfortable for families.

Breakfast was good. We were visiting a family member in the hospital.

I stayed overnight with my son and a small dog. The woman at reception was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean and neat. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Should put families with little kids that cry all night at the opposite end from singles and elders!!

It was so loud at night. I swear nobody sleeps. Little kids everywhere. Will not be back

Great service and friendly staff: there were attendants present in the concierge area the whole time we were there. We arrived around 10:30 pm and were greeted by alert staff with a smile. We traveled with 2 kids under 7 years old and they both loved the experience and breakfast - scrambled eggs, toast, waffle maker, condiments, coffee, tea, hot water, cereal, muffins, fresh whole fruit. Great selection of food. Clean and modern-looking room of 2 queen-sized beds.

I love that it is safe, quiet and pet friendly. I loved my room with two queen beds at the end of the hallway across from the ice machine and not far from the elevator. My little Pup and I were very comfortable there. I also love the close access to Route 79 as I come to WV to visit family in Huntington. The staff are all polite, friendly and attentive to my needs. Breakfast is delicious.

I was hesitant to book because of some reviews but it was priced good so my family gave it a shot. We were in room 307 which did not smell musty, had good bed sheets, mattress was firm but comfortable, bathroom was clean, and it was quiet in the halls (we stayed on a Tuesday night). We had a good experience.
