Marriott Tacoma Downtown

Thought it was a normal stay, decent hotel, nice pool. When I got home and went through my luggage, my whole mind changed. The fact that a house keeping staff member would steal from a hotel guest is so mind blowing…. A lot of nice things stolen right from our suitcase without us even knowing being I was in the city for a very short amount of time on a family matter… smh very upsetting. And quite frankly, I don’t even know what the hotel is doing about it.. they said they will work with me but I am very, very upset with this hotel and the staff member that decided to do such a thing…

My wife and I booked for a stay vacation for one night to get away from the kids. The bed in the room was terrible. It was hard, lumpy, the sheets were stiff. We left after a few hours , knowing that we would not get a good night sleep.

This was an emergency stay for my family due to our sewer line breaking. The hotel is very nice. There room was large and comfortable. The one thing that really annoyed me is that housekeeping is not provided until the 5th day of your stay unless requested. There were signs in the lobby indicating this, but I did not see them, and I would have preferred being informed by the front desk when checking in. We stayed 2 days, and when I called the front desk at 7pm after the first day asking about housekeeping, I said that I needed my trash emptied and more coffee and cups. No one came that day, and the front desk didn't mention that no one would come when I called, and so I had no coffee the next morning and full trash cans. That ruined my impression of the experience.

It was a quick one night trip to visit the Point Defiance Zoo. The hotel was perfect. We were sad we didn’t have time to use the pool!! It 👀 wonderful but we were visiting family too!!
