Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SeaTac, an IHG Hotel

I am 5'3" and had a very hard time getting on the bed because it was so high. When I did get up there and sat on the edge my feet were a good 2 feet from the floor. Once up there it was comfortable. The bathroom had a very odd sliding door that offered no real privacy. There was a large gap and no handle or lock of any kind. Also, the entry door had at least an inch of gap at the bottom that light and sound came thru. As well as a spider crawling across that floor. The microwave took some figuring out. Would be nice if there were instructions. Lastly, in the room above us were very loud children that were up all night running, jumping and bouncing a ball or something. We got very little sleep. There should be quiet time rules and kids should not be on upper floors if possible.

Property was nice. Was given a room (200) that was said to be a sought after room but as it is street side it was very noisy due the fact that you hear all the traffic buzzing by. My opinion is that rooms street side should have better noise insulating glass. The other issue was that you felt and heard all the running around from the room directly above. You can’t control who is above you but I didn’t expect to hear every scamper the child above had. I also have no ill will to those guests as toddlers are toddlers and have the right to do their thing as it’s not out of character for a family to just be. It’s more again the noise insulation barrier between rooms. After the first night of a not great sleep I asked the front desk about my options. They happily moved me to a comparable room on the top floor mid building, between the busy road the light rail track. What a difference! Everything was great again! Thanks to the staff for doing that for me and my son. It really made a difference between a great experience and a nightmare.

Very disappointed. I booked a king suite that sleeps 6 people and showed up at 1am only to find out that there was a "system error" and only standard rooms with two beds were available. Apparently this was noticed earlier in the day but they didnt think it worth warning people before they showed up. I heard same story given to multiple other people. My options were to pay for a second room or let kids sleep on the floor. No refund was offered. I felt bad for the staff whose hands were tied.

We love how friendly & accommodating the staffs. The place is very clean. We definitely would come back & recommend to our friends and family.

The room was very clean but the bathroom sliding door had no lock and you could see in the room on either side when closed. This was not good as I was there with my 2 grandchildren.

I stayed during the cancellation of flights before Christmas. The staff were definitely outnumbered but doing a great job at keep it together and staying professional with a smile on their faces. In the morning we got up and my family and I went down for breakfast and noticed that the food was running low but kept coming out. There was so many people having breakfast that morning. I found out that the gal in the kitchen was working alone and she did a killer job for having to handle that breakfast rush all by herself. I just want to say that the gals there working were welcoming, kind, and accommodating. I hope someone there gives them a massage package for after the holiday mess.

We had a very good stay and I felt very comfortable getting the family to the airport from here.

Super comfortable beds, very friendly staff, and a good early breakfast. Breakfast starts at 5 am which is good for us early risers, and especially good for us east coasters. I would have appreciated more eco friendly cups, etc. but overall a great stay for me and my family.
