My Place Hotel - Vancouver, WA

Clean, quiet, comfortable, with everything my family needed. Full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a two burner cooktop. Rolling table so easy to seat a family of four.

My place hotel is great for families and long-term stays.

They were very helpful and friendly. I had a baby in yow and they helped me with my luggage to the 2nd floor and also back the car when I checked out. Their night staff are smokers and had to stay close to the entrance to watch for guests, but were very courteous and moved far away when they saw me come with the baby. Would stay here again.

Great for working trips, no so much for family or vacation trips. Good, fast WiFi, and good full size desks for report writing. During my current stay, some funny odors in my room and in the building.

The front desk workers that I spoke to were awesome :) both when checking in, buying concessions, and getting the free and amazing coffee in the morning! It was my 40th birthday and I saw a great coffee mug with the MY brand, and my initials are also MY so I splurged and $12 made the experience uber-eco-friendly! I got hot coffee and was overly surprised at how good it was. I was also happy to see the very cool room. So neat these kitchenettes, which make family travel easier and more affordable for dining in and making snacks, meals and beverages. I was able to buy Lasagna Lean Cuisine for only a few dollars :) much to my surprise! The only downfall was we saw a rather large Cockroach that crawled from the bathroom to the kitchenette. I was already freaked out, and then I saw it again in the bathroom. I covered it with tissue and pressed it with the trash can, I am very squeamish about these things and disgusted as well. It did Not die, and I flushed it before it was gone. I did NOT see anything else insect wise and it could have come in from us, we had just come from a historical military house, which is over 100 years old and while I didn't see any roaches or bugs there, it's very nice, Fort Flagler, north of Seattle, by Port Townsend, I am just being Positive about this. I did NOT notify management, just putting that out there as I know this happens, but it made me nervous! I wore my shoes the rest of the evening!
