Vacation Village At Williamsburg

Great place for families. Pool was lovely. Kids played in arcade. Nice to have room for parents and room for kids.

Good for a family that provides the kids with a lot to do.

We had two families with 1 small child each. The room was perfect for each family to have a room and bathroom but share kitchen. We had everything we needed.

This is our second time staying here for a nearby family reunion and we will stay here again. We used to stay at Greenspring, but since we are just looking for somewhere with multiple bedrooms (for 5 people, two couples and a single) to sleep and eat breakfast, Vacation Village is significantly cheaper. We have never used the resort amenities at either location. If you're just looking for a place to stay and want to save money for a place that is the same size apartment but cheaper, it's a better deal than Greenspring. The place is definitely more run down than Greenspring and not quite as nice, but it met our needs very well.

Nice place for families! We came for a quick stay and loved the amenities and met other nice families while we were there. It was too cold for the pool, but it was a nice pool area.

The property has nice amenities (pool, playground, sundry shop, fitness center, arcade) within walking distance. The 2 bedroom unit was spacious and family friendly. Although some items (tv, stove) were dated the unit was a nice place to come back to at the end of the day to relax and unwind.

The common areas are great--beautiful pool, tennis/pickleball courts, etc. Lots for families to do. The accommodations were less great--the family over us was super noisy, and we had to put up with their thumping the whole time. Beds were pretty uncomfortable and needed better blankets. Furnishings were out of date; rooms need to be updated. But we had a great time. The resort is super close to so many things to do.

I loved the open pool and crafts upon checking in for the kids to do. Nice, spacious rooms.

Our room was spacious and exceed our expectations. We loved having a ground unit with direct access to a small play area for our 2 yr old twins. We did have a couple minor issues with our room. Our room phones did not work. Our jet tub in the master bath did not work. The main issue that we had was not knowing ahead of our arrival that we would be required to pay a $150 deposit on the room. We were not told until check in that this was required. We were also told that it would be immediately refunded upon check out; however, an immediate return did not happen as stated. We had to wait 48 hours for a refund of the deposit. Had we known of this requirement and the delay in refund prior to arrival, we could have properly planned accordingly. It made our departure tricky financially as we had to adjust funds during our stay in order to ensure for travel expenses for the journey back home to Georgia. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for a future vacation and will recommend this property to family and friends.

Convenient Location. Staff was pleasant and nice to work with. Unit was clean, large but very dated. The exterior of the unit 100 Building was absolutely dreadful. In no way did the building give you a "happy I am on vacation feel". The exterior, grounds, deck and general appearance were literally scary. No way shape or form did it look as if we were in a vacation setting with other vacationing families. Perhaps we had a "BAD" Building- the location was ideal by the pool but I would be hard pressed to book again. The entry foyer had the most unpleasant odor and was incredibly dirty. Our refrigerator did not work- we were only there for 3 days so I just kept our drinks in the freezer and rotated to stay cold. Needless to say..... I will look for another option for our next visit to Williamsburg.
