Hampton Inn & Suites Roanoke Airport

Very friendly staff, checked in a couple hours early even! Room was extremely large with a long desk that my grandchild loved. Plenty of room for her toys and electronics. The pull out bed was horrible but most are. Very nice pool and patio area

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered every question we had and followed through with every request. They greeted my children each time we walked through the door. The breakfast was plentiful with many options. The hotel location was conveniently located off the interstate. Although it is an “airport” location, there was minimal noise from the airport close by. The location was not in downtown Roanoke, but just on the outskirts. Would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Roanoke.

Too expensive for the pool being shutdown and no continental breakfast, since they were short handed with staff. Not a good stay for family traveling

I put one star for booking and paying for the hotel, and when we arrived to check in with two small children, we were told that there were no rooms available and we were put out in the middle of the night! people be careful!

Clean and comfortable for a family of 5 passing through town

The hotel was great.. nice and cozy for being so cold and rainy.. this was our second stay at this hotel and we will always stay at this hotel due to how close everything is to it. However and it’s no fault to the hotel staff, but apparently there was a kid birthday party there that weekend.. those kids slammed the stair doors (Which was close to our room) multiple times throughout the night, ran up and down the stairs all night, and was running all over the hotel room past 11pm like a stampede. It sounded so loud because they were just above us and woke me up multiple times.

This hotel is the worst hands down. They let some lady conduct a birthday party in the lobby with 20+ kids running around like maniacs and all up and down the hallway outside our room. Also they blamed Hotels.com for not communicating with then regarding the cost of my room being nothing because it was a redeemed rewards night. (Never had that problem anywhere else either) Girl at front desk was doing her best but clearly she had no support. Then 2am people in room next to us were screaming at each other in a quarrel, we called desk after being woke out of dead sleep. They were gonna take care of it. Fighting stopped for 5minutes then started again all night. Rediculous and poorly managed hotel. 2nd time I stayed here, wont again. First time was on businesses trip where they screwed up the room, 2 queen bed and instead we had 1 king bed and I slept on a roll away cot on the floor. Place needs major management revamp.

I had my grandchildren with me and after swimming in the pool they all had chlorine burns and no one was concerned asked for room service and never received any we were there for four days

Wasn’t great. It worked well because the proximity to the highway during a long road trip- we stopped over night and the hotel was close to the highway and restaurants. The actual hotel was nothing great. Service seemed to be run by high school kids.

Staff had their family on location and seemed to give priority for everything except the customer. I paid for a king size room after check-in I arrive in my room and discover it is not but two queens, I go back downstairs to ask for the room I paid for, and was told that they did not have any Kings available and I should be happy with what I had as it doesn’t matter where I sleep. Highly unprofessional.
