Great pool for kids

We are so happy we booked our stay with The Hyatt Regency. From the front desk service, to the comfortable accommodations, and accessible shops and restaurants we will definitely be recommending this hotel to visiting friends and family. While the bathrooms are the only thing in need of updating - the rest of the property more than makes up for it.

Super comfy beds. Slept so good every night. Great location to everything we needed to do. It was my first time staying at this Hyatt but it was my husband’s and his family’s 3rd time. I can see why they wanted to stay here again.

Love staying here every year with a large family group, but the Reston Town Center has less and less. Shops are still gone, The movie theatre is gone, Panera Bread left the lower level a while ago etc etc. Still we had fun and iceskated etc. The service from the employees was wonderful.

I made the reservation for my nephew and his teenage children and called the Hyatt Regency Reston, where I'd stayed comfortably for months at a time in the past, to let the hotel know that though I was paying for the room, it was for my nephew and his children and I didn't want any confusion about this when they arrived to check in. Everything went smoothly when they checked in, as a note had been put in the system. My nephew and his children said they slept very well and after they checked out, my wife and I met them for lunch at Jackson's, which is a short walk from the hotel. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch and visit together, after which they drove the short distance from the Hyatt Regency Reston to Dulles airport, arriving there with time to spare to return a rental car, go through security, and board a late-afternoon international flight.

It was close to shopping which was great. I did not like that there was no bottle water in the room and there was only one vending machine contains drinks only 6 floors below our floor. I have kids and to not even have a vending machine with snacks and no available water in room was quite a disappointment. They have a parking garage with the hotel, but charge to $16/night to park there!
