We were on a short, two-night vacation with the kids, and one of them got sick and made a huge mess of one of the beds in the room. The cleaning staff handled the incident with kindness and discretion, which was greatly appreciated. The rest of the staff was just as courteous as well, which made what should have been an extremely rough start to the trip much smoother. Thank you to everyone at Fairfield for your help and service, we will definitely be back!

It would have been useful to know that the property is being renovated and that the pool was unavailable. It was disappointing to find the breakfast option was overpriced pastries and Starbuck coffee. We traveled with a gluten-intolerant grandchild and had to rummage around a town we were unfamiliar with to find breakfast. The front desk check-in staff was very good.

Always clean and easy for a moderately priced hotel. Have kids that attend UVA and convenient location to everything.

Nice location. Lots of parking. Good breakfast. Not really walkable to restaurants for us but easy drive and parking. Large park directly across the street would be good for kiddies. Only real negative was the large heavy room doors which have a tendsvy to slam shut loudly.

Staff was helpful and very friendly. Room seemed clean. My only complaints is there was no trash bags in our bins and we have children with diapers. The bath tub plug also wouldnt work so we just had to give them a wipe down with a rag before bed but that wasnt too bad.
