We love staying here when I have to travel from several hours away to see a doctor at UVA. Very friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, feels safe. Decent pool which the kid loved.

The sofa bed did not appear to be clean when we arrived. When we were setting it up, we noticed that there were food crumbs all over the sheets. Our bathroom had multiple lights out. The air conditioning in our room was not effective leaving us hot and uncomfortable for the majority of our stay. No matter what temperature we set the thermostat at, our room stayed in the mid to upper 70’s until the overnight and early morning hours when it finally cooled to the desired setting. It was very hot outside so I’m sure that was a contributing factor but it still should be able to cool the room more effectively than it was. I also wish that it would have been communicated to us in advance that our room would be in a separate building across the parking lot. We have small children and it wasn’t ideal going back and forth

Pretty neat hotel to stay in. Bed was very firm and uncomfortable but that’s a personal preference I guess. Also, elevator was a little outdated. Breakfast was great. Room was great for our family.

Great place to stay. Very clean and staff is courteous. I needed to down grade from a family suite to a junior suite and it was so much quicker and easier than I thought it would have been it was no hassle at all. I will definitely stay here again and again.

My family and I had a perfect vacation~ First of all, the water was very hot, which is 100% hot for an older hotel! The swimming pool was also very clean and "usable", and the water was warm^_^Breakfast It’s as good as everyone said, especially the oatmeal! It’s not quick to cook! It’s super delicious~ I ate three bowls, and the sausage was also delicious, not the microwave kind.. In short, there is almost nothing to fault. BODO's bagels are right next to it, so you can enjoy delicious food at any time~

This hotel is so charming! We always go for the more affordable hotels and they are usually nothing special. But this one has a lovely and inviting lobby, a great breakfast and super pretty property. It's our go to home now when visiting Cville family. I really can't speak highly enough of the lobby, especially for morning coffee.
