This hotel exels at customer service, friendly staff, and cleanliness. We have stayed here multiple times and the staff goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and our stay pleasant. The breakfast staff is very kind and keeps everything well stocked. The only thing I would wish to be different are the beds. They were a little hard for my taste but most of my family slept fine.

Very nice place but one thing that was the biggest problem was walks are very thin, doors close loudly. There was a lot of people up and down the halls, in and out their rooms around 11pm while my kids were asleep and me trying to fall asleep and it was just more noise then other hotels I’ve stayed at with high traffic. (Was as if our door was wide open). Wish breakfast started little earlier on the weekends like 6am.

I received a call from t he hotel just before my stay that they needed my two queen bed room for a convention that had a lot of people sharing. Would it be okay to upgrade me to a suite with king bed? Naturally I opted as I told them I was traveling with a group of friends. They then made sure we were all on the same floor. The room was lovely. Breakfast was great. Hotel staff friendly from checkin to bartender to breakfast cook. Hotel is close to Appomatox Courthouse National Park and several family restaurants. Highly recommended.

Definitely not family friendly—has a bar at the front desk. Lots of people drinking in the lobby. Not in a nice area—run down with construction.
