We enjoyed our stay here! We thought the breakfast would be a little better but there was still a good variety.. the indoor pool was kids favorite.

We had a staycation for new years weekend with the children. They loved the pool. The room views were incredible we went to the movies and dinner was an easy find. Overall great time

Because of their remodel efforts when we stayed, I was a little nervous about the noise and lack of a hot tub, but it was not a problem. The pool was warm and even with our room 2 doors away from the lobby and elevator we were never awakened by loud noises! Breakfast was good but if you have any food allergies like two of our children, you may need to go to another breakfast location and it may not be your best choice economically...we were pleased as there was a discount available for us when we stayed.

My husband and I have stayed in alot of hotels in Lynchburg every 4 to 5 star and we love the Wingate the most. We tried other but always come back. The rooms are very clean and fresh and if they have to they will switch your room with a smile. The breakfast is always awesome too free breakfast not just cereal and bread. Breakfast is real waffles, eggs, cheese, bagels, oatmeal, fresh fruit, muffins, ham or sausage, cereal, milk, coffee, orange and cranberry juice, and tea. When we need free time away from the kids we stay at the Wingate great room, indoor pool, gym, and great customer service.

This is the perfect hotel for visiting Liberty, because it is perched on a hill overlooking the campus. Our room was nice and had a breathtaking view. The lobby and eating area are very nice, and the breakfast is very good. The indoor pool is beautiful and big. It has many nice chairs to lounge in and the ceiling is a big skylight. My only complaint about the pool is that it was too warm (it is a heated pool), but they may be able to adjust the temp for you. The staff was efficient and there were many restaurants close by. The only complaint would be that the kids said they could feel all of the coils in the pull-out bed, so you might want to bring some extra padding if you intend on using it. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It was very relaxing. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and it was relatively close to where we needed to be, close to restaurants, and shops. I would definitely recommend it to others. It had an indoor heated pool and exercise room. The spa was being remodeled at the time of our stay. The only thing I think was that they closed the pool at 11:00. We stayed out until late and we didn't get much time there. But what we did get to use was great.

Nice lobby area. Really good continental breakfast. Pleasant pool and hot tub area. Perfect for families or anyone. Daily service to rooms didn't include cleaning - just changed towels, made bed and emptied trash.
