Room and hotel staff were good, proximity to noisy road and construction were not relaxing. Surprised by the lack of free parking, either valet for $35 a day or pay $48/24hrs in the Stowe lot. Hotel is classified at pet friendly, but they charge $100/night for a fee. I'm pretty sure our dogs make less of a mess than most children or adults do. Didn't recall seeing those fees listed when booking. They did divulge the infamous "Resort Fee" at booking, still a pet peeve.

Sliding glass door to balcony is very difficult to lock. For child safety there needs to be another lock higher up. Also there is zero sound proofing in the rooms. I shouldn’t be able to hear a conversation across the hall.

Awful experience. Rude check in, hidden charges—parking is either $35 to valet park or $38 to self park far away, room looks over a parking lot, brown water for the bath, but the real kicker was the intermittent clanging noise every 10 minutes or so in the room that by about 1am was unbearable. Can’t even believe I am paying over $400 per night for this. I am livid typing this and if my kid wasn’t asleep through it (she’s amazing) I’d drive home now. Fighting tears I’m so tired and upset. Hate this place.

Very nice and pleasant staff. Property was beautiful but a little large, although it had all the conveniences and amenities you need. Our room was great- a studio, but was a long walk from everything, although it was very quiet, large , and had a gorgeous view of the mountains. You must use the Valet, the price was included in our stay, or you could self park for a fee and it was a short walk from the hotel. The valet process was quick and had very easy access to our car whenever needed . We did ski , but this property is not a true “ ski in ski out”- we had to take the Gondola at the hotel across the way to the ski mountain which was still ok with us , but you can’t just put on your skis and ski on the mountain. The outdoor skating rink was nice, we did not use but the kids looked like they were having fun. We did not try the outdoor heated pool but it looked nice, especially at night . Overall , great place to stay with plenty to do even if you don’t ski !

Nice property! Stayed here from a Tuesday to a Saturday. Was disappointed that they didn't have more activities through out the week and not just on Friday. Stores close early and some of the restaurants they advertise are only open on the weekend. It sounded like a hotel that would be full of activities for the kids and fun things to do throughout the day but didn't see that. We left the hotel more then we wanted to just to keep the kids busy. They have two restaurants on site and one we did not visit because it was all seafood and my kids would not like it. Alpine hall was nice and food was good but the menu is small, not much to choose from. We ate out for the rest of the trip. We had Breakfast the first day there at the beanery and never went back. The service was terrible. The worker was not friendly at all! I purchased 2 containers of cereal for the kids but they had no milk for me to purchase. I asked if I could purchase a cup of milk since they had a bunch of gallons of milk for their coffee beverages and he made a big deal about it. Their egg and cheese sandwich was $10 and it was pre-made. Figured I would get a fresh sandwich for that price. 2 ice coffees, sandwich, 2 small containers of cheerios and 1 pastry was over $50. Valet was great and so friendly. We reserved a suite with a kitchenette. It was extremely small, and the refrigerator was tiny, couldn't fit much in there. Overall its a nice hotel but expected more.

Location is perfect if you want easy access to the mountain. We liked being able to walk across the street and begin our hike. We found the Lodge restaurant short staffed especially during breakfast ( only meal we had) ( Alpine Hall). Our room seemed to connect to another room and found the kids next to us quite loud. If you advertise as Pet friendly you should be able to leave your pups alone. You should not have to spend money for a pet sitter who would be a complete stranger. We have stayed at other pet friendly places and have never come across this odd policy. Then why bother to be pet friendly. Our dogs were quieter than the kids next to us screaming Sunday morning. Tom and bathroom were nice. Bed was comfortable. Surrounding outside area was nice for taking the dogs for a nice walk.

Very accommodating! Everything is accessible and easy. Made getting my 3 young children ready for skiing easy. They loved the outdoor rink and pool. Definitely coming back!

Location, Location, Location. That is the plus of the hotel. It was a nice place, but not worth the price unless you are willing to pay for convenience to the slopes. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and ambience was nice. Just other little conveniences like a little market weren't there (couldn't get a soda without going to the bar...a pain when you are one adult with two young kids). Also, they "upgraded" my room from two beds to one. Ended up sleeping on the couch since there were three of us, but the bed wasn't that comfortable anyways. Good overall, but I've been to nicer places that cost less.
