Stowe Motel & Snowdrift

The staff is quite friendly and overall they ensure that you have a pleasant experience. The property is well kept and easily accessible. Small touches like DVD options, bikes and children’s games add up to the good experience.

Pet friendly and clean motel. We stayed at end off summer, weather was cool, 50's at night. Bikes on property to ride, need a few adjustments to loose kickstands, some bikes gears didnt work but we were able to find 4 bikes for the family. Pool was heated. Keurig coffee in the office with Starbucks and Dunkin choices. Wall of Dvds to borrow from with lots of good choices for families and kids. Clean rooms and cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful if you needed extra towel or pillow. Room had a mini fridge with a two burner stove top and utensils and pots etc. Small Game Room Lounge with small pool table, foosball table, ping pong table and ice machine free. Would have loved to have seen more tables outside to eat with my family, as the only places that had a table to eat was by the pool which was no food allowed. Plenty of parking and things to do in the town of Stowe.

The atmosphere at the Stowe Motel & Snowdrift is very welcoming and family-friendly. We came in the summer for hiking, so we took full advantage of the pool area when we got back each day. In addition to the great amenities and beautiful mountain views, the proximity to restaurants and shops can't be beat. This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a low-key, friendly, comfortable place to hang out before/after your Stowe adventures.

Although advertised as a hotel with breakfast (still advertised) it has no breakfast. Was compensated by hotels for 55usd for 2 nights 4 people (not enough for a hot drink in Stowe for the family). Hotel is a 7-7,5 level not 8.6.

Great location, could walk to many restaurants. Next to bike path and river. The motel has been there for a long time so it’s nothing fancy or modern. Serves the purpose and clean. We enjoyed the pool after a day of hiking. Large grass areas. Bring soccer/whiffle ball if you have kids. Plenty of space to play.

This is just what it advertised: a simple motel near some great food and breweries, at a decent cost (for Stowe). Perfect place for our family to stay.
