Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Kanab, an IHG Hotel

The woman at the front desk did not know how to check us in We were informed there would be a power outage for the next five hours starting in 15 minutes so we had to rush super stressfully to our room The elevator is not working so we had to carry our sleeping children 3 fights upstairs And then she had told us the wrong side of the building so we had to also cross the building from where we were parked. These are just inconveniences and stresses. The room was very comfortable. Beds were awesome and clean. There was a big stain on one of our bathroom towels that were hanging up The next morning when we went to breakfast, there were all the bread items, but the pancake machine was out of order and there were no omelettes or bacon left and we got there at nine and breakfast was supposed to go till 930. We were informed by the one person working in the kitchen, who is extremely over burdened that they had run out of everything and that she was sorry. There was for a while, but we did talk to her and ask her about it and she said they were sorry they just ran out of everything. We chose Holiday Inn express because we’ve always had a good experience there and we knew that it would be a standard good experience. So we’re very surprised that it did not meet our expectations.

It was a comfortable hotel to travel with family. A bit noisy but the staffs were nice and breakfast was good.

I can see why people stay in Kanab.... Equa distant from Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon! Would recommend for families.

Great staff with a lot of hustle to help us with front desk, housekeeping and breakfast requests. We stayed 3 nights over memorial day weekend. We saw breakfast crew go above and beyond to accommodate late arrivals by restocking food quickly though these hangry folks tripped in 15 minutes past the close time. Coffee bar was stocked through out day and kiddo appreciated the hot chocolate. Great pool. Dining area is a great all day retreat for family games or catch up on email. Hotel room furniture is dated and mattress was soft and lumpy, but very clean. S

This hotel is outdated, it needs a whole new update and better furniture. The hotel is too noisy. The walls are thin. It is definitely not a 3 star hotel. We would give it a 1 star. The room above us were very noisy and the kids were running g back and forth and jumping. Total disregard for the people bellow them. We will never stay in a holiday inn. This hotel is ugly and terrible. Thank you.

We loved staying here. We left our other hotel early because it was so bad. This was a welcome change! Everything was clean and fresh. The property is well maintained and feels safe. Breakfast was great and my toddler loved it! We would absolutely stay here again.

I checked n at 10 pm and out around 930 the next morning. . All 3 front desk girls were Awesome Very helpful, courteous and attentive . Very quiet, clean and comfortable. This will always be my go to hotel even though it bypasses the town my family stays in, causing me to have to backtrack.

There was an awful smell .. perhaps from all the dog visitors. The toilet sat right on the floor..like it was built for children..terrible!!! The room had a bad smell!! We opened the window a crack but it did not help the smell. Personally I will never stay in a place that welcomes dogs or any other pets again. I don't want to live on a farm with animals and I don't want to sleep in a bed that they have slept in. The "free" breakfast was mediocre. My husband is a navy vet, we have AAA and AARP and were not given any discount. Wasted money on our part.

The hotel is nice but there was a family above us that allowed their children to run and jump throughout the night. When we called the front desk we were given the option to change rooms. Which we did but I don’t understand why we were the ones who had to move instead of the the people who could not control their children.

Our room was wonderful, it was clean and quiet and very reasonable for my family.
