Quality Inn Rockport on Aransas Bay

Great little hotel on aransas bay. No frills, decent breakfast, friendly staff. No bugs, comfy bed, good cable (got lots of rain lol). Perfect for couples. I would want bigger rooms if bringing children and pets.

Needs TLC, lots of dings and damage. Breakfast was pretty bad... Lots of families, pool looked nice. Fishing pier was just ok (rickety and old). Good value for price. Shower was good.

My family has stayed here for years when it was under a different name, now that it is a Quality Inn it has really improved as far as the house keeping! Clean sheets, the curtains black out night lights ect… very comfortable stay.

Second night there were kids smoking pot on the balcony all evening and the smell was coming into our room. About midnight I called the front desk and they told me that they could move me to another room. At midnight?? Didn’t feel safe staying there and the bolt latch to the door was broken off. Beautiful view isn’t worth staying there again. Breakfast wasnt too hot either. Only ate there the first morning. Nice staff, good view of the sea…Thats about it

We went for a family weekend getaway and we were pleased with our rooms, service and the area.

Every reasonable nice rooms no complaints like that it was pet friendly. Grandkids loved the pool and the guys love the fishing pier .simple breakfast with waffles and scrambled eggs sausage and a nice glass of orange juice.we decided to stay an extra night had no problem with front desk.would recommend it.

Property is perfect, very clean. Most of all the staff is beyond helpful. My son's houdini dog opened door and got out soon after we left to get dinner. The staff was observant enough to know that he belonged to us. I immediately received a phone call from front desk. We returned right away, as we had just left. Our pets are our family. We greatly appreciate the staff!!

Surprised at the large parking area and location at the water. Pier fishing was fabulous. Great for kids.

Okay for a cheap fishing trip w your buddies but wouldn’t take family. Cheap towels and trashy parking in lot.

The people at the front desk were very nice on check in, but the condition of the facilities were not up to par with the reviews that I had read. The room had recently been remodeled so it had hard floor, which is a plus, but overall, the room was just dirty. Both the beds were broken and sounded like they were going to collapse any time we moved. The sheets were dingy and yellowed. The room smelled like mold/mildew and everything felt damp. There was a huge brown smudge on the wall that my son commented looked like poop, there were boogers on the wall by the toilet paper. The bathroom smelled like urine. Then during the night, baby cockroaches started to crawl over the bathroom floor. Right outside the bathroom door was a cockroach the size of my thumb. After that, we forfeited our second night and stayed somewhere else. The grounds were not kept up as well. We were on the end room, closest to the RV park and there was a broken down door, and a can full of cigarette butts right outside our door. And in the cement area next to our room, there was a lonely ole grill. Definitely not up to the reviews.
