La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham-Red Oak TX IH-35E

I wish they had had high chairs in the dining area. It was difficult with two babies and no high chairs.

Very nice clean and friendly hotel. We stayed on the way to visit family and chose it again on the way back.

pretty good stay. we only stayed for one night, but upon arrival (around 11pm) property was clean and felt safe and quiet. it was very clean-looking and sanitary in the lobby area. i was concerned that once we go to our room, that it would be shabby and less clean...to my PLEASANT surprise, it was nice and clean! i always have a complaint and i didn't have one this time --unless i was just too tired to care, lol. we'd stay here again just as a one-night thing again. for longer trips, my family requires more accommodation. oh, yes, breakfast was not great at all. they ran out of sausage at 7am (breakfast starts at 6am to 9am), and didn't try to make or find any other meat protein. eggs weren't great and muffins weren't fresh either...but at least they had food, i guess...

Checkin was quick and easy. The Room...mold like substance around interior door frame, carpet dirty as kids walked around a bit in the room and their feet were disgustingly black, water pressure lacking.

Great hotel, family friendly, clean, great restaurants, shopping area… I will be back

Stay was for 2 nights to attend an event. The Good:Location is great-right off the highway so groceries & gas station close by. Desk staff friendly. Sheets,towels, microwave/fridge were clean. The Bad: Room not that clean-chair badly stained(nobody would touch it), no stay over service for room,so towels and trash pile up fast), floor dirty & hairball behind door. Breakfast was terrible. We left it and went to get it elsewhere. Pool was kinda dirty-kids won't care but not too relaxing for adults. 3/5.

I chose this hotel for proximity of family I was visiting and because I was told it was only built last year. It’s directly off Interstate 35 and I wasn’t expecting a four or five star stay, but the hallways had a very strange odor; not dirty, not clean— just, strange. The room was facing the Highway and in hindsight I wish I asked for a room that faced the back of the building because the traffic was very loud even through the night. The carpet in the room felt “damp” even though I don’t think it was (??) and the AC would not keep up to keep the room the level of cool that I preferred. They will not come in and clean the room during the stay and I can only figure it’s due to staff shortages so it’s understandable. The morning coffee was HORRIBLE, lol but I was happy that there were plenty of options for coffee all around. Door dash even delivered coffee to our door in about 15 min from local establishments if you want the room service vibe.

This property was close to family which was a plus and the breakfast was good. The only drawback was this property lacked an electric charging station which made it difficult for me driving an all electric vehicle and finding nearby charging stations and it also had a bit of a wet smell on the hallway and in the rooms. Not sure if flooding may have impacted this property.

Everything was pleasant from the beginning of checking in we were greated with smile's from the front desk, checking in was a breeze, the only thing I would mentioned is our room had a few things that weren't working properly but I did reach out to the front desk with the concerns and it was resolved at the time. Except for the air-conditioning which upon check out, the front desk staff was very understanding and listened to my concerns with having a child with asthma she understood my concerns, and besides that we had a Wonderful stay .. Enjoy 😉
