Holiday Inn Express & Suites New Braunfels, an IHG Hotel

Beside the small cosmetic like the cracks on the wall and peeling paints around the window, the room was modernly decorated and comfy. We stay as a family and thoroughly enjoy the great breakfast and kind staff.

What an amazing experience to stay at Holiday Inn Express! The staff was so nice and welcoming. Room and hotel was clean. I had a great time with my family.

This is a nice property in a very convenient location to many restaurants and in close proximity to the Rockin R for innertube rentals. The staff were all very nice and professional. The battery in our door's access pad needed to be replaced after putting he luggage in the room but that was not going to happen until Monday. We were first told that we would be placed in a Queen Suite; but, that ended up not happening since they had none available after our first night there. After the manager was called by the front desk attendant, we were told that we would have to get someone at the front desk to let us in with a key. That was not acceptable to me since we would have to wait in line each time we wanted to get back in our room. Eventually, we were relocated to the adjacent room. I am not sure why this wasn't done to begin with but this was a perfect resolution. The breakfast assortment was good but it took longer than expected for food to be replenished. Over the four nights/five days there, bacon was never served which was in contrast to the website pics. There was only one small tray of cinnamon rolls out at a time; so, that was empty the majority of the time. We were told breakfast began at 9a; however, it was apparent it began earlier since there were families finishing their meals when we arrived promptly at 9a. Ice machines are only on the 1st and 3rd floors.

The Hotel seemed very new. It was centered in a great location. Restaurant and shopping centers near. Checking in was quick and efficient. Breakfast was Good and had variety. My room was clean and my kids loved the Swan shaped towel left inside the restroom, very thoughtful. The only but was I asked for my trash to be taken out on Sunday my last stay because I noticed they never cleaned my room a day prior. I came back from Schlitterbahn and They didn’t follow up with what I asked for. Young lady in counter either didn’t let them know or housekeeping didn’t do it. Stay was good I would book it again. Next time I’ll make sure To ask for housekeeping. I stayed 3 nights for family Mini Vacay.

This property was OK, but nothing really special. The pool was closed so that was disappointing. The breakfast was OK but really nothing that was kid friendly. Also the staff was nice but not overly friendly.

This was the cleanest and friendliest Holiday Inn that I’ve ever been to. The hot breakfast was great every morning. The kids loved the towel animals that were in the room, we had a turtle and a swan. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to town!

Guests upstairs (kids) stomping around, clerk talked to them but they continued to stomp around until after 2am. The 3p-11p desk clerk should dress more appropriately for work, not like she is going out with friends to a bar!
