The Inn Of The Hills

We decided to take a last minute trip up to Kerrville for 4th of July. We chose to stay here and glad we did. It’s convenient and close to everything you need, the swimming pools were awesome and the room was very spacious! Definitely will be back with family to spend a few days before school starts.

The stay was really good. The cleanliness was good. The pool was humongous. The little pool wasn’t so nice but I just learned it was from a freshwater spring so understandable. Overall, I would recommend this place to stay at everyone was friendly checking with smooth really nice hotel. I would come back with my family for sure.

The amenities were not as promised. The main pool was closed. The small pool was disgusting. After I cleaned it and we were all but by a million mosquitoes, we gave up. The pool was closed for maintenance. We could not use the pool because of stairs and accessibility. Everything was filthy. Chairs were overturned at the pool by the river and leaves were in the pool. My dad who lives in town with a bad back could not swim with us. It is the reason we booked the hotel. So we could swim at the main pool with my kids. Very disappointing stay. Please refund. Manager on duty said they would refund.

Needed a few days in the hill country before a family wedding in Austin. We have stayed here 3 times now but our last visit was in 2016. The hotel is in far better shape than our last visit and it looks like they have done extensive work. It’s a large property but it’s convenient to river restaurants and downtown as well (1110 Bistro is walkable). We stayed in a cabana room and would stay in one in the future. Chairs outside of the pool side door, roomy interior with king bed. We did frequent their bar and while not a big selection of beers or libations (no frozen drinks of any kind) the bartender was pleasant and it appears to have a crowd of regulars. Quiet room and we slept well.

Extremely friendly and helpful stay. Very clean and quite rooms. The hotel was centrally located making traveling between Kerrville and Fredericksburg an easy commute. Will most definitely recommend to my family and friends.

It was supposed to be a two-night stay with my family. When we entered the room, the smell was unpleasant. We found mold on the walls, around the refrigerator, and on the shelf where the TV stands. These spaces had not been cleaned for a long time.

The motel has seen better days but was clean and comfortable. My bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. I was very pleased that the A/C worked and I could keep it cold at night! The room was very quiet. I did not use anything on the property so I do not know the condition of the pol, etc. There is an excellent restaurant within walking distance on the river that I highly recommend for adults. Not the kind of place I would take children. My stay was pleasant!
