Fairfield Inn & Suites Fredericksburg

This property was great for our family. Enough room to spread out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool was a little small but the kids still had fun. It is located not too far from the downtown area. Would definitely stay here again if when we come back!!!

We loved the comfortable, spacious room, yummy breakfast, and had fun playing in the pool (small but we had it to ourselves so it was perfect). The kids loved having their own space and TV! We really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again.

This hotel is more appropiate for the business traveler or large families looking to share a comfortable suite. For tourists looking for the Texan wine experience, I would suggest to stay in a hotel that is more representative of the area than the Fairfield. Frederickson is full of charming cottages and Inns. This hotel counted with the ammenities expected from a mid-level suite hotel from a Marriott chain. However, at $273.00 per night I expected a bit more of a better experience or maybe a bit of local flair. Overall, the stay went well, my main comment is that I felt I could have received more for my money had I gone elsewhere. The service was okay but not 4 stars, or 3.5 stars for that matter. The room toiletries and supplies were skimpy. We requested extra shampoo as we were three girls and only had one tiny shampoo and conditioner in the suite and received in response another single tiny shampoo. The coffee was also limited. We requested more and received one tiny bag. We requested sugar and received one pack. Maybe we should have been more specific. Last but not least, cleanliness wasn't as expected. Again, nothing unbearable but it wasn't an experience at all, just a place to sleep. I would have felt satisifed at $120 per night. For the price, I would recommend that they step it up a notch as the average price per night in several cozy suite accomodations in Frederickson is usually $150.00 per night for an entire cottage.
