La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Bush Intl Airpt E

We stayed overnight during a mini family reunion. I was able to book into a King bed with no issues. My daughter and I slept comfortably and I have a bad back and my back was great after my sleep. Chronic pain sufferer for 15+ years and the bed did not hurt me.

Horrible experience, after my family check in, we when to the room and the cleanliness of the room was horrible, we stay for 3 nights and the first day off our stay the cleaning crew made one bed but not the other , so we thought maybe because we left some of our stuff in top of the bed maybe thats why they didn't made the bed but the next day we make sure we took everything off the bed, so the cleaning crew will made both of the bed, but for our suprice when we returned to the room that night, the room was the same way we left it.

Shuttle to the airport and back was terrible. I’ve learned that some hotels share the shuttles and they can’t give a ride to a big family at once. They didn’t have enough room or limited at the airport or at the hotel. Because they have to share the shuttle. We had to wait 90min at the airport. Don’t recommend this hotel if you have a big family like us(7). The floor was filthy in the room and everywhere, bathtub doesn’t drain well so had to had a shower in my own, toilet was leaking and it was noisy with filling up the tank all night. Some staffs were horrible but some are nice. We had an awful service when we were arrived but it was great when we were leaving. I guess we had one of those bad apples this time.

There was no electricity when we arrived. We had to hike it up all 4 flights of stairs @ 1 am. There was no air or heat due to no electricity. The beds were SUPER hard and uncomfortable. They make a lot of noise every time I moved in the bed. I woke my child up just by rolling to my other side several times.

This hotel is completely outdated lets start there! When I arrived to check in the young lady at the counter was in a video call with a guy while working which is very unprofessional. She's providing my room information while on the phone which is a security issue! The towels had stains on them, the furniture had chips and scratches all over them, I don't know what was louder the AC or the fridge!! Stains are all over the carpet and the tub didn't look like it was clean properly. You need to use BLEACH!! Someone's dog was barking and running against my door in the hallway! I didn't know dogs were allowed in hotels until I saw a family of 4 with their dog. Very unpleasant experience I didn't get any rest. I will NEVER recommend anyone to stay at this location!!

The front desk gentleman was very nice, hotel seems to be run by a family. But during breakfast, while we were eating, the kitchen staff started spraying & cleaning right next to us, when I objected, she loudly argued she had to...we took our food to our room to finish.

When we checked in with my wife and my 5 year old daughter we reserved the transfer for next morning at 6am. On the morning at 5:15 am we had a phone call from the front desk that the transfer for 5:30 am is there, better to hurry. I said we asked the transfer for 6 am. She said transfer is here the 6 am transfer is fully booked. She can’t do anything. Take the 5:30 am transfer otherwise we miss the flight. She was so rude even the shuttle driver. Thank You for this “great” morning!!! Never go back there specially with a kid.

While the hotel itself was clean, absolutely financially worthwhile, and the lady that handled check-in was seamlessly efficient. Our issue arose at 4:00am when the couple above us thought it appropriate to let their children start running around the room for the next half hour. The male evening manager was less than helpful while trying to encourage us to be understanding of the adults children. After our second call 15 minutes later and still dealing with the running, he further called us back wishing us in our future of becoming parents that people are understanding. While travelling with our nieces and nephews, we do not let them run amuck at 4am as we are considerate of other patrons.

Late check-in. Request for 6am shuttle in the morning. Was not informed to be in lobby 15 minutes before pickup. Received phone call shuttle was there 10 minutes before 6am. Told her would be down in 2 minutes. Got down there in 2 min and shuttle was gone. Had to wait 40 minutes for next shuttle. Bathroom Counter is large and not suited for children or short people due to design. Approximately 8 inches from front ledge to sink. Water from washing face falls onto counter instead of sink and wets clothes.

We were in a family suite with limited tiles and no extra pillows of blankets had to go request everything. The room smell terrible between cigarette smoke and old mob water. The sofa bed was the wrost every.
